One thing that stroke me from the very first of his speeches on (and actually already from the video where he is talking to someone before leaving his first meditation place), but I haven't seen this being mentioned in any comment so far: Dharma Sangha has such a uniquely beautiful voice, I don't remember having heard anyone else speaking with such a voice before! I wonder whether I am the only one who is thinking that?

@Trodua This idea of "he just recites the messages of others" is quite widespread, AFAICS, and also what I thought originally. But there is a video on the web where a visitor films him in some discussion and, while I do not understand a word, it is pretty clear that he is absolute dominant in this discussion. Also, there have been reports by people having visiting him and were allowed to ask him arbitrary questions. So, no, I don't believe anymore that he is just a marionette (by whom, btw?).
@Trodua brother, you must watch the Discovery channel's perfectly scientific study on this person. What he has done is something any of us can do. Swami Vivekananda did that in the 19th Century. Read Raj Yoga from Vivekananda. Peace.

Is the glass half empty, or half full? Actually the number of animals killed was greatly reduced by this interaction, though thousands of animals lost their lives...tens of thousands due to be killed were spared. Can you imagine what a relief it was to those animals who were allowed to go? I know some of those animals personally, three baby goats who came to live with us. :)
@KhenpoDarma I never said to be silent. I would say to YOU, discover if there is a God, and AWAKEN to SEE this life for what it really is. Maybe, then, you can truly change the world from within. Or, remain ASLEEP and try changing the worlds’ atrocities, piece by piece. Besides, many before Ram, have come spreading the IDEA of world peace. And that is all it is, a pretty little idea.

Widely popular, it ends up in a place with a sign marked, "nowhere in particular." There is still time to change to the path marked, "belief in positive change." Most of my Buddhist friends especially those of Tibetan tradition eat all kinds of meat with no restriction at all even though they are all residing in the West where vegetable diet is so avail. This always puzzle me as a Buddhist ! How can we pray ' May all sentient beings be happy and at the same time kill and eat their flesh" !
Reading some of the comments on this page- it's not surprising that so many ignorant people are scrutinizing the boy. The point is the message, so why are so many shooting the messenger? I'm sure there are many stories made up about him by others. False claims are common with people in the public eye- buddhas or not. @WahnamStudent When Dharma Sangha began his meditation, the middle path was already understood, having been proved by Buddha. Meditating without food is an ancient technique, it does not come under the label of extreme asceticism, because TMV Dharma Sangha is really showing the illusion of samsara, and not denying himself, but sustaining himself with alternative means. He started his 6 year meditation having already acquired permission and vital information from his "heavenly" gurus.
@WahnamStudent In the hope of providing you with a logical explanation, let us say that he used different methods to sustain himself. As you can see, he is not starved in the way that Buddha was. Buddha was meditating for those 6 years to test the possibility that asceticism would take him where the luxury of living like a prince had not. Having tested both extremes, he recognized the middle path.
You can sit in a mountain for years, but unless you receive the Spirit of Jesus Christ literally within you, yes, literally HE comes and merges with your spirit, then you will be subjected to the delusion of want, need, desire and lusts. You can deny yourself only for so long, suppress only for moments, even extended moments, but the true enlightenment comes when Christ sends the Holy Spirit to you which is nothing short of the literal Spirit of God and Christ (They are ONE) merging you to them
He has remained in a deep unconsciousness, simply repeating whatever borrowed knowledge that he has accumulated through his tradition. Otherwise, in transformation, it is impossible to continue speaking through the lenses of the knowledge one has gathered, insight as a flame from one's innermost center. It sounds like wisdom, but you can teach a parrot to repeat tradition and consider it to be wise. He has certainly done much work with meditation, but he has yet to come to his Buddhahood.

May they neither exaggerate their own attainment nor belittle the attainment of others.

The way is within yourself, everybody has his own way. Meditating for the next 6 years is not a given. Especially because we might not even have 6 years ahead. But Ram has definitely something, for instance he mentioned 72 Kalis, in another speech, that's what the Quoran says too about the "virgins". It goes to show that there is a common line to all religions, people are just not getting it.

However, Swami Vivekananda often said that it was pointless to preach religion to people who had empty stomachs. It was first necessary to feed them , to minister to their basic physical needs, otherwise how could they possibly be ready to listen to spiritual truths?

This being ROCKS! It would do us all well to reflect on the nature of the compassionate Universe that such that a being like Gadhi Mai would come to this dark planet to lift and inspire us all to peace and brotherhood and enlightenment.
for example, my sister will suddenly call me up regarding a dental concern, yet there are subtle neuances to the timing and unknown supernatural natures of this phonecall. my mind stirs in all these proper antidotes of care, yet through actual attainment, may i remove these sufferings just from the heart connection.
family members call me all the time after i meke these vows yet i donot know how to actually help them with my subtle heart/sound of my voice over the phone, i can only practice Dharma and attain, hopefully i can really attain, TRUELY attain so that i do not waiver in my heart, and that any blessings that come before me are able to be transfered to all those with the destiny to meet me and that they actually have their sufferins removed.
there were also guest speakers at the speech day, can we get translations of these people too? one dressed in white robes, with dark hair even made Palden Dorje smile, and another one was singing, these speeches can help bring people closer. After just looking at his image or hearing his speech, i am noticing great happiness; it inspires me to remain steadfast in my Dharma practice. May we all have the repleate benifits of palden dorje and the replete riddi, shiddi, and samyak attainment.

Om Namo Guru Buddha Gyaani. Sometimes we view things as obstacles. In fact we view most things as obstacles, but they are not. Our present situation is also our medicine, and it is in immersing ourself in the present and accepting it as is that we gain freedom.
This was a great speech of a real boddhisatva. The feelings come from the great kind heart of this sentinent being. Let all living beings live happily, I bow to you, the great hearted.
Khenpo Dharma: if you don't mind me asking, how did you first come across Palden Dorje? (Alohagypsy, I would ask you the same question.) It seems that you are in the blessed position of having met Him. How I wish I was in a position to come and see Him myself! All I can do is meditate on Him, and continually watch these marvellous videos!
so it is essential to be careful about food, particularly if you are trying to practice meditation. It is good to eliminate not just meat but also reheated food, stale food, extremes of strong tastes. Garlic and onions are said to be almost as bad for a meditator as eating meat. Eat an abundance of raw foods, lots of fruit. Your mind will become stronger and more calm.
Not impossible, pimpo :o) You can use asafoetida (hing) as a garlic substitute. I make nice curries with just chilli and ginger and other spices, No-one ever complains about lack of onions or garlic when I cook, and I do a lot of cooking...
Alohagypsy: actually, the implications of offering food to a deity stretch far beyond just overcoming the desire to eat meat - I'm talking Hinduism here, but see no real clash between Hinduism and Buddhism. The teachings state that whatever one eats, becomes part of one's mind. Food bears the subtle imprint of whoever has prepared and cooked it. if you eat, for example, a meal cooked by an angry person, you will feel anger afterwards, for no apparent reason. Offering food clears negativity away

oh, and another thing, alohagypsy (maybe you already do this?): before you take your meal, be sure to offer it to PD or your chosen deity, mentally. You can visualize the deity partaking of the meal. The food then becomes sacred prasadam. If you do this with devotion, you will find that it is well-nigh impossible to offer PD a steak, or a piece of chicken, or whatever, anyway, so - problem solved!

I am ashamed of myself everyday I have meat. I know how the animals have suffered and yet, when I am faced with it, some days I cave in. I'm struggling with vegetarianism. Most days I am strong about it and after seeing videos like this one, it makes my conviction stronger. Need to begin each day with this vid to give me strength. One thing that stroke me from the very first of his speeches on (and actually already from the video where he is talking to someone before leaving his first meditation place), but I haven't seen this being mentioned in any comment so far: Dharma Sangha has such a uniquely beautiful voice, I don't remember having heard anyone else speaking with such a voice before! @Trodua This idea of "he just recites the messages of others" is quite widespread, AFAICS, and also what I thought originally. But there is a video on the web where a visitor films him in some discussion and, while I do not understand a word, it is pretty clear that he is absolute dominant in this discussion. Also, there have been reports by people having visiting him and were allowed to ask him arbitrary questions. So, no, I don't believe anymore that he is just a marionette (by whom, btw?).

Is the glass half empty, or half full? Actually the number of animals killed was greatly reduced by this interaction, though thousands of animals lost their lives...tens of thousands due to be killed were spared. Can you imagine what a relief it was to those animals who were allowed to go? I know some of those animals personally, three baby goats who came to live with us. :)

I am so glad Palden talked about we should not harm any sentient beings, espically killing helpless innocent animals just to satisfy our taste buds and stomachs.
Most of my Buddhist friends especially those of Tibetan tradition eat all kinds of meat with no restriction at all even though they are all residing in the West where vegetable diet is so avail. This always puzzle me as a Buddhist ! How can we pray ' May all sentient beings be happy and at the same time kill and eat their flesh" !

I'm sure there are many stories made up about him by others. False claims are common with people in the public eye- buddhas or not. First he tells everyone hes gonna be gone for six years. one year later heappears. then ge goes and says the same thing again and appears one year later. "For someone whos been meditating for so long" like him something happened. you know what happened? he slapped some villager and the police investigated idk what ended up happening. @WahnamStudent When Dharma Sangha began his meditation, the middle path was already understood, having been proved by Buddha. Meditating without food is an ancient technique, it does not come under the label of extreme asceticism, because TMV Dharma Sangha is really showing the illusion of samsara, and not denying himself, but sustaining himself with alternative means. He started his 6 year meditation having already acquired permission and vital information from his "heavenly" gurus.

@WahnamStudent In the hope of providing you with a logical explanation, let us say that he used different methods to sustain himself. As you can see, he is not starved in the way that Buddha was. Buddha was meditating for those 6 years to test the possibility that asceticism would take him where the luxury of living like a prince had not. Having tested both extremes, he recognized the middle path.

You can sit in a mountain for years, but unless you receive the Spirit of Jesus Christ literally within you, yes, literally HE comes and merges with your spirit, then you will be subjected to the delusion of want, need, desire and lusts. You can deny yourself only for so long, suppress only for moments, even extended moments, but the true enlightenment comes when Christ sends the Holy Spirit to you which is nothing short of the literal Spirit of God and Christ (They are ONE) merging you to them

He has remained in a deep unconsciousness, simply repeating whatever borrowed knowledge that he has accumulated through his tradition. Otherwise, in transformation, it is impossible to continue speaking through the lenses of the knowledge one has gathered, insight as a flame from one's innermost center. It sounds like wisdom, but you can teach a parrot to repeat tradition and consider it to be wise. He has certainly done much work with meditation, but he has yet to come to his Buddhahood.

I don't know his language, but being in contact with the universe he surely knows that there is no such a thing as nationlaities, we are all one, and all in the same boat that we are destroying.
Divisions have been fomented on purpose to keep us from seing that.

The way is within yourself, everybody has his own way. Meditating for the next 6 years is not a given. Especially because we might not even have 6 years ahead. But Ram has definitely something, for instance he mentioned 72 Kalis, in another speech, that's what the Quoran says too about the "virgins". It goes to show that there is a common line to all religions, people are just not getting it.
I would start with having a look at tapping(dot)com vids, let me know how you feel after that.

C iam a person who luvs n hates, cause they r both a part f me; i cant smile @ som1 wen i dont feel like it, i cant say i like u wen inside i hate them. truth is my god bt at the same time, truth goes much deeper than the facade we c, hear n feel; it has taught me dat by reconising limitly n being limited has brought this in me, luv r hate r watever. so wen som1 says luv r luv god; it annoys me, cause u jus cant luv; u hav 2 hate as well.

@WazDDR To me it seems that you hate in the other the same things you hate about yourself. Read my first message, forgive yourself (that's what the saving from the original sin means.), You'll be able to forget the others for being just.... humans like you. Hate and fear do not make you feel good, you can feel that, the taste of revenge is always short lived, and often replaced by regrets in front of the victim's humanity once a dead body.

Furthermore some people can weed out the entrance of the path, but YOU need to walk the walk anybody that tell you otherwise is trying to take advantage. I remember our first discussion, and getting here is a bliss. Just remember that you will doubt sometimes, but reconnect yourself by asking forgiveness, the universe knows your struggle he will reconnect you, just ask for it with a pure heart, love is the energy that counts. farewell

However, Swami Vivekananda often said that it was pointless to preach religion to people who had empty stomachs. It was first necessary to feed them , to minister to their basic physical needs, otherwise how could they possibly be ready to listen to spiritual truths?

You are not starving are you, so start with yourself, and the rest will come, worry about those who are starving is the beginning of pity, and that's all you need, the ones with an empty stomach are only victims of the ones with a full stomach that eat too much and watch too much TV.

Odd that you should use the word "mundane" because, the last time I was in heaven...they were playing this tune! ;) It is called "Tranquility" by Imee Ooi, and it is also a wordless mantra.
After attempting to match several pieces to this speech, I found that this piece and his speech were almost made for each other.

for example, my sister will suddenly call me up regarding a dental concern, yet there are subtle neuances to the timing and unknown supernatural natures of this phonecall. my mind stirs in all these proper antidotes of care, yet through actual attainment, may i remove these sufferings just from the heart connection.

family members call me all the time after i meke these vows yet i donot know how to actually help them with my subtle heart/sound of my voice over the phone, i can only practice Dharma and attain, hopefully i can really attain, TRUELY attain so that i do not waiver in my heart, and that any blessings that come before me are able to be transfered to all those with the destiny to meet me and that they actually have their sufferins removed.

there were also guest speakers at the speech day, can we get translations of these people too? one dressed in white robes, with dark hair even made Palden Dorje smile, and another one was singing, these speeches can help bring people closer. After just looking at his image or hearing his speech, i am noticing great happiness; it inspires me to remain steadfast in my Dharma practice. May we all have the repleate benifits of palden dorje and the replete riddi, shiddi, and samyak attainment.

For example lion eating a zebra cub; wat do u say 2 dat?? dats lions nature, its not his fault; if u believe in the creator than u must know he created dat nature. Fist of all we are not animals, so wrong example Second there is an embedded security system before being granted access to the ultimate common network: your conscience. If you stick to your approach, never listen to your heart, always trying to justify with your left brain, you will not even realise that you have access, and that your pineal gland is the door

@WazDDR True, the whole of the manifested universe with all its dualities - good and evil, hot and cold, pleasure and pain - was created by God. In the physical world, duality exists. There can be no light here without darkness.

@WazDDR Mate evolution is a myth. It has now been proven scientifically, there cannot be spontaneous life. If life had spwan spontaneously they would have been able to recreate it by now. This theory was retrieved, in spite of Darwin stating that it was just a theory,and made into science justify the eugenistic racist agendas of the powerfull and blur the difference between good and bad. Furthermore if you really try to journey into spirituality you will discover that we are all part of one god.

Khenpo Dharma: if you don't mind me asking, how did you first come across Palden Dorje? (Alohagypsy, I would ask you the same question.) It seems that you are in the blessed position of having met Him. How I wish I was in a position to come and see Him myself! All I can do is meditate on Him, and continually watch these marvellous videos!

so it is essential to be careful about food, particularly if you are trying to practice meditation. It is good to eliminate not just meat but also reheated food, stale food, extremes of strong tastes. Garlic and onions are said to be almost as bad for a meditator as eating meat. Eat an abundance of raw foods, lots of fruit. Your mind will become stronger and more calm.

Not impossible, pimpo :o) You can use asafoetida (hing) as a garlic substitute. I make nice curries with just chilli and ginger and other spices, No-one ever complains about lack of onions or garlic when I cook, and I do a lot of cooking...

Alohagypsy: actually, the implications of offering food to a deity stretch far beyond just overcoming the desire to eat meat - I'm talking Hinduism here, but see no real clash between Hinduism and Buddhism. The teachings state that whatever one eats, becomes part of one's mind. Food bears the subtle imprint of whoever has prepared and cooked it. if you eat, for example, a meal cooked by an angry person, you will feel anger afterwards, for no apparent reason. Offering food clears negativity away

oh, and another thing, alohagypsy (maybe you already do this?): before you take your meal, be sure to offer it to PD or your chosen deity, mentally. You can visualize the deity partaking of the meal. The food then becomes sacred prasadam. If you do this with devotion, you will find that it is well-nigh impossible to offer PD a steak, or a piece of chicken, or whatever, anyway, so - problem solved!

Thanks for your suggestion! I have organic honey at home and will drink some tea or apple cider vinegar with it as that's a great combination as well. I need purification!

I am ashamed of myself everyday I have meat. I know how the animals have suffered and yet, when I am faced with it, some days I cave in. I'm struggling with vegetarianism. Most days I am strong about it and after seeing videos like this one, it makes my conviction stronger. Need to begin each day with this vid to give me strength. May I see the pain in Palden Dorje's loving face whenever I succumb to the horrors of eating flesh of a sentient being. Metta, maitri...om namo guru Buddha gyani.
