  • "he wants to give them UMPF!"

...if you know what i mean.. xD

  • I'd bet the US didn't join earlier because the germans didn't own any.........oil...

  • "For the first time, these images give an unprecedented view"...

  • Why is that mentally-ill, cross-dressing Jew, Arie Nusbacher allowed to relay history to us?

  • @SIG551P Where are the nazi's when u do need em eh lol

  • Monty sucked! PATTON ROCKED!

  • Comment removed

  • Monty was a tit!

  • At the time Patton and 3rd Army were so close to the German border and the Germans feared Patton more then any other General. What the fuck were they thinking?

  • @southparkfan2717 maybe one of the two or both:

    1. Gen Patton's fiery as hell mouth

    2. His good old .357 Magnum

  • @TheNobleman70 What?

  • @southparkfan2717 Because Patton supplies lines were to far away behind. Thats why they stopped. U cant fight with an army with out any supplies.

  • @90Boski His forces had outrun the supplies but at this point that wasn't the issue. The issue was limited supplies and who to give the supplies too. All they had to do was give 3rd Army the supplies and they would have shot across the border.

There was to much that depended on luck with MG. They had how many rivers to cross? All of which required the luck that the airborne divisions would take the bridges before the were destroyed.

  • @southparkfan2717 Ye thats true, and those supplies went to Monty insteed. Which was stupid as u said that they could cross the border faster. Yea true, and river rhine defence ended in march i guess

  • @90Boski How was it stupid? Operation Market-garden was huge risk that could end the war in 1944, Obviously it was worth taking. 1,End of the war in the West. 2,More of Europe saved from Communism. 3,The Allies get the glory. The Allies fought like lions during the Operation, Infantry against Armour.

  • If Operation Market garden had been a success, Then the Allies would have saved more of W.Europe from the spread of Communism, The Allies would have took Berlin, etc.

  • @martynrobin121 I want to agree with you but the facts will not allow me. General Eisenhower told the Soviets that Berlin would be their conquest. Okay, you will have to go into the books to find this, but consider this, WE took Leipzig and then turned it over to the Red Army ! Also look into how Roosevelt gave away Eastern Europe at the Yalta Agreement. The Polish land taken in 1939 by Stalin he was allowed to keep.

  • @rampking1 General Eisenhower was a fool. Monty knew Market Garden was a huge risk, However "IF" it was a success the war would be over by 1944 and the British glory to take Berlin. Eisenhower however just wanted to let the Red Army do the work as usual and for the U.S-British to withdraw for the final push against Japan in the East. 75% of the Axis forces 1943-45 was fighting the Soviets, The Allies could have taken advantage EASY! And Stalin betrayed Churchill on Poland.

  • @martynrobin121 Thats true man, well i respect for everyone who fought in the war against the germans. Im from poland what Roosvelt did against my country to sold us out was a betrayal. I know they killed Sikorski because Sikorski was really respected by everyone. And Sikorski would never let the Soviet take Poland. Thats why Allies took him out or the USA agents. And I know that Churchill never wanted to make that happend. But it did because Roosvelt fucking idiot talked him over

  • @90Boski I agree with you 100%, The US sold Poland & Eastern Europe to Communimsm. The Americans were scared to stand up to Stalin, Only Churchill would argue and go crazy with the Communist. The Americans even sold Berlin to the Red Army.

  • @martynrobin121 Yea man, if USA and UK would show more muscle against Soviet that they want Berlin and they want to save those countries maybe the history would be different. But as u said USA were to scared to stand up to Stalin so they asslicked stalin ass. What a shame..... I never said that the operation was stupid? And I know that the operation could end the war quicker. Ye the Allies were really great. British and Polish fought together and USA. Bad luck that the germans

  • @90Boski People will always argue about Market-Garden but it was worth the Gamble at the time. The Axis got lucky, They had panzer divisions,S.S,etc in the right place, At the right time. Allies paras fought against Armour. Also the Axis had been on the run in France since D-Day, Belgium was full of Axis forces who kept the Allied Advance busy.

  • @90Boski US were scared of Stalin? Not hardly. There was no point in Allied soldiers taking Berlin and losing thousands upon thousands of men only to have to hand it over to the Soviets, anyway. Let the Russians bleed for it.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Maybe not the USA, I mean Roosvelt and Eisenhower asslicked Stalin ass big time, they gave away Berlin, and they gave Stalin the eastern europe because they were scared bitches. No point for the soldiers to take Berlin? What? Allieds soldiers big goal in the war was to take berlin, and they were really disappointed when they heard that they wont take berlin beacuse the red army will. So keep the bullshit for ur self.

  • @90Boski Whatvr you want to say, dude. Berlin was nothingmore than a symbolic target. I suppose you would have justified the bloodshed just to say to the Russians, "here you go". As far as Eastern Europe being given to the Russians. War sucks. You do what you have to.

  • @90Boski The Western Allies could have taken Berlin because they would have been in range of it long before the Soviets were if not for this tragedy, "Market Garden". There was way to much in this Battle that relied on chance. For all the rivers they would have had to of crossed, Patton and 3rd Army would have had one river to cross and they'd be in Germany, they could have prevented the Battle of the Bulge and pressed right on to Berlin.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 the irony was that if the Allies had made their intentions to assault and take Berlin, that battle would not have been so bloody. The Germans would have surrendered faster to the Allied Armies than Kim Kardashians Marriage.

  • @nodinitiative Debatable. I do not think the Germans would surrendered their capital any easier regardless if it had been the Western allies or the Russians.

  • @martynrobin121 put 2 Waffen SS divisions in that day.

  • @martynrobin121 I guess you would agree, wouldn't you, mate? LOL!

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Berlin should have been taken at any cost. Remember D-Day was about taking advantage of the 75% of the Axis forces in the East, So the Allies could invade and stop the spread of Communism and wipe out the Facists left behind. BUT NO! The U.S just wanted 2 rape, plunder and the Berlin and East Germany- East Europe was sold to Stalin & Communism. You Americans remind me of the French, You will only stand & fight when you have 2, So much for your proppaganda "helping the world"

  • @martynrobin121 You're a typical self righteous Brit. Full of himself and crap. How long did you sit on your arses while Hitler took country after country in Europe? Not to mention your homeland taking part in the selling out of the Czechs. LOL! You Brits love to point the finger at someone else and never yourselves. And for the record, American generals WANTED to take Berlin. It was Eisenhower's call.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 What? The German first invasion was Poland 1939 and the British declared war. The Brits sent the BEF 2 protect mainland Europe from Axis invasion also Forces 2 protect 1/4 of the planet. The British could of had the same attitude as the Americans and said mainland Europe, etc was not ther problem. However the British stood up from day-1 for Freedom, When peace-talks failed we took action and Hitler was begging for peace, He made great offers even offered W.Europe on a plate.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Because Britain tried it's best to avoid another war that would cost millions of lives.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Talking about sitting on their asses while Europe was taken? Where was the US before Pearl Harbour?

  • @C8mon Giving Lend Lease to the Allies, my friend.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Giving? The US from 1939-41 made profit and gain from the war. Only in 1941 when American interests were at risk did they give out loans. Britain was bankrupt for leading the war, The Soviets refused to pay off their loans to both America,Britain. So much for giving, They were like bribes to protect your national interestsss.

  • @martynrobin121 Whatever spin you want to put on it. Lend Lease was a vital part of war effort.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Yes, I agree the Lendlease was a vital part of the War. It was in the best interests of the United States, Also the Soviets needed Trucks and the US been the Bankers gave out Loans. The British were unable to Re-Arm for the Second world war, They needed Trade from the States and its Empire was its lifeline.

The Soviet refused to pay off their debts, They were not as stupid as they looked, They knew the game-plan of America. The British were paid up and broke!

  • @C8mon - The US was rightfully staying out of the war, as we should have done for its entirety.

  • Montgomery was over-rated but Market Garden may have succeeded if the british tankers weren't a joke.30 corps had no fight in them.If Eisenhower hadn't coddled the british we would have had Pattons 3'rd army punch threw and save the day but Montgomery wanted all the glory for his limp-wristed candy-assed countrymen. Then this little english twat had the nerve to claim Market-Garden was 90% successful which was crap.It was a waste of time and a complete flop.

  • @johnhatchelful Bollocks. The 30 Corp had been involved in the heaviest of fighting in Normandy and advanced through north-western Europe at a rate faster than Patton's 3rd Army. The single road advance was what prevented the 30 Corp moving quickly during MARKET GARDEN, which was a result of higher planning failure and not any lack of "fight" in the 30 Corps. The 30 Corps continued to press forward their advance on Arnhem despite fierce resistance from the Germans and days of continuous fighting

  • @johnhatchelful You forget that Patton was a major jackass who deliberately undermined MARKET GARDEN because he wouldn't even spare a single thought for sharing glory. When he learnt of Ike's plans to support MARKET GARDEN he deliberately threw his 3rd Army unprepared into a massive assault which forced supplies & material to be diverted away from 21 Army Group to support his pointless, bloody assault on Metz - a major failure that he only "won" when the Germans withdrew on their own terms.

  • @johnhatchelful For that matter Bradley deliberately threw the 1st Army under Hodges into the worthless slaughter of the Hurtgen Forest so that he didn't have to transfer any supplies, material, transportation or manpower to support MARKET GARDEN. He refused to halt the advance of 12th Army Group for a week or so even when his front was quiet & there was no clear opportunity he could take advantage of to push on because he would not let the British or Monty get any glory while he got none.

  • @johnhatchelful MARKET GARDEN was an Allied Operation in which troops from Britian and the Commonwealth and Americans as well as other Allies Nations took part in. An American - Louis Brereton - played a major role in the planning of the operation and was one of the tactical commanders when it was put into effect. Unlike OVERLORD, nobody ever tried to say MARKET GARDEN was anything other than an Allied Operation so Britian would not get "all the glory" just like doesn't get all the blame.

  • @johnhatchelful MARKET GARDEN utilized mainly troops which had been idle since the conclusion of the Normandy Campaign & was an attempt to gain a Rhine crossing. It cost the allies about 17,000 men, about two weeks & the chance to end the war sooner.

Patton's Lorraine Campaign utilized the 3rd Army which had been in combat since the end of Operation Cobra & was an attempt to take Metz and advance into the Saar region. It cost the about 35,000 men & about five months & accomplised little

  • @johnhatchelful The Hurtgen Forest Offensive officially was an attempt to advance on the Rhine but in effect had no goal. It used the 1st US Army which had been in battle since D-Day & was exhausted. It cost the Allies about 33,000 men & about seven month during which time it accomplish absolutely nothing.

MARKET GARDEN may have been a failure but there bigger ones which are deserving of far more scorn.

  • @johnhatchelful Furthermore this whole period was damning for Eisenhower conduct as Supreme Commander. He failed to control Montgomery, he failed to control Bradley, he failed to control Patton, he neglected Devers, he dispersed the Allied effort & doomed their advanced to falter. He promised Montgomery support & failed to deliver it, he promised Bradley support & failed to deliver it. He permitted pointless, wasteful offensives to continue even when they were clearly getting no where.

  • @johnhatchelful Eisenhower tried to please everyone & ended up pleasing no one. Patton stalled before Metz, Hodges stalled in the Hurtgetn Forest, Bradley spread 12th Army Group across the Ardennes & sent more & more men to get slaughtered at opposite ends of his own line while Devers stalled in the Alsace region and Montgomery stalled in Belguim and the Low Countries, failing to reach Arhnem &spending months makig Antwerp Operational. Allied failures all round in this period of time.
