I was listening to this video with my earbuds, and I have some feedback. Maybe you could play around with your vocals a bit and add a bit of reverb? I think as it is right now, it makes it sound empty because it doesn't carry. With reverb, it can carry a bit more. :)

I just felt like doing the floor thing... it was a lot easier to do that at the time for me... Personally I don't like sitting down and playing that much. Guitar players have it better because they can hold the instrument and control it 100%. The piano is something you can try to tame, but that's about it...

From listening to songs like "Imagine" and "Hotel California," I didn't get the sense that your voice had as much body as it does in this song, Jimmy. It's actually better in this slightly lower part of its register, and that fact caught me totally by surprise. You sound good in the higher range, but this is where your voice really shines.

Which model keyboard is this?

It's the Kurzweil PC2X.

The sound, however, is not from the PC2X. It's from Garageband, the software I use to do all my recording. The sound is from the orchestral jampack that includes the Steinway samples...

So, not sure if you wanted to know about the sound or just the keyboard. The keyboard is great. It has it's own terrific piano sounds, too.

I think Audacity is for the PC platform??? I use a mac, so that wouldn't help me... Unless... I do have a couple PC's lying around, but I never turn them on... ;*(

I'm pretty sure that Bastiaan used Audacity to record his guitar parts on the Eagles cover we did..
