A friend of mine took the load of the psu to determine how bright the lights go.

sound controller, i got one but it broke =(, you can get a full kit off ebay for around £8 10 with delivery, search sound activated cathodes and it should come up

they must have stopped selling them then just look around the regualr cold cathodes and then maybe you will get one popping up with sound activation as a bonus, i tried exactly what i typed in when i purchased mine i see what you mean there is no trace of them lol

u buy a kit that has the cathodes and a sound activation senor box. the sound activation box detects ANY sound waves and converts the signal into electrical signals that is sent to the cathodes on random intervals based on the sound waves. Which then lights the cathodes. its fun. lol
