This was very profitable for me to listen to. Glory to God, who is a Consuming Fire. And yet, "WHO IS A PARDONING GOD LIKE YOU?" What a [insert better word of glorification than I can think of] God that so freely and generously extends mercy!?! Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY Who WAS, and Who IS, and Who IS TO COME!
Just have to praise the Lord that He brought me under this preaching, to learn the perfect truth about the perfect balance of God's soverignty and human responsibility.
Is there any chance of you uploading this song onto YouTube without the sermon clips included? I love the song, and don't get me wrong, the sermon is good - however, I have this video on a playlist with other worship songs, and when I'm listening to the songs in the background it's annoying to have a spoken voice keep breaking into the music. I'd just like to be able to hear the song by itself. Thanks!
The question is not why wouldn't He chose others, but Why would he chose me? He does all for His own glory and pleasure and if He wanted to send all to hell, He would be Just and good in that, but He has chosen for His own glory to show how merciful He is to sinful wretches. Either you believe what the Bible teaches about election or you dont believe what the Bible says about the wickedness of man.
No one should be chosen. We all deserve hell and God's wrath, but God in His mercy has chosen to show forth His grace and kindness to save men who should never have been saved.
God did not choose you because of you, but in spite of you. None deserve salvation. We are all guilty criminals and what does any guilt criminal deserve?
Dont think of it as why me and not others. Instead ask the question, "what can I do to spread this wonderfull gift that God has given me so that others may see as I do?"
I am doing so. I am just showing how redundant calvinism sounds. Specaily to someoe you are trying to spread the gospel to. If you have no choice, then why bother spreading the word?
We should take this wonderful gift and share it with others. Just trust God and understand that He knows better than us. Hes grace is a mystery I think we will never fully understand because we are all undeserving of it:)
What about god didnt chose me but i choose god? what does it mean?

Nothing puts sinful man in a rightful humbling position before a thrice-holy God than this great truth which can be seen throughout the whole Bible.
This cuts right through vain human pride, triviality and self-obsession.
Praise the matchless name of Jesus, who has saved me despite myself.
And why? For His own glory alone. Hallelujah. Amen.
( I Cor. 2 v 4-5) "A Debtor to Mercy Alone".

I know the deal my friend. That does not explain why my friend will not see the light i see.
Why would God lead me to Jesus, and why wouldn't he lead my friend(s), and family?

You don't know that yet, and we don't operate with our dealings with people as if we do know who is of the elect.
