I knew this kid at school, for Halloween he came dressed as the Doctor. I started watching Doctor Who and inevitably are now obsessed. I went into the class today, ran up, gave him a high-five and said, "Bowties are cool." Then Iwalked out. We had a whole conversation about the Doctor today, mostly about funny lines and getting Doctor Who stuff for Christmas while looking at a magazine I brought in to show him that had a bunch of Who stuff in it. Pretty awesome day. You gotta love that laugh. :)

For example when the tenth doctor was going to die he went to see everyone, so I think it means he really dies, just not in body... They're different incarnations of the same person... but still the same person. The Eleventh Doctor doesn't *replace* the Tenth Doctor, the Tenth Doctor *becomes* the Eleventh Doctor. Ten's moping and wailing about regeneration=death was more about the actor and showrunner leaving than anything to do with the show.

I mean, in Series 3, what does Ten say to the Master? : "You're not dying, don't be stupid -- it's only a bullet -- just regenerate!" Wish someone had told *him* that.
