  • Heavy paragraphs, clear and truthfully engineered

  • Chief sinister.

  • !DOPE!

  • Foo FUCK ALL Tha Bull Shit What Tha Hell Is This Song About?? Haha...

  • Warcloud reminds me of MF Doom & vice versa

  • @sicksense22 In some ways...but when Holocaust was in his prime...he was too much nicer to be similar to MF Doom.

  • @KrfNYC2 I much prefer Warcloud

  • @sicksense22 I agree.

  • cannibal ox ft. holocaust, now thad just melt my brain yo

  • 4 dim witted humans didn't live life from the ground to the sky

  • what album is this from?

  • I'm speechless. The only thing I can say is that I know exactly what he's talking about, but I'm having difficulty translating to layman's terms.

  • the bloody old man from L.A.

  • ''silva ant n golden beattles crawling threw outmy paragraph'' he ses tha on mad axes rite at the beginning

means this track was made first

  • wu-tang!! @vegaworks7

search for sonryze - underground bunker.

sounds like early holocaust / warcloud

  • I get warm on the inside listening to this shit just like the effect of x|c's. I really fucking mad about this hardcore hip hop!

  • HA HA HA!!!! MY BROTHER SAT JUST NEXT TO ME AND SAID: " SOME OF THE SHIT HE SAYS IS DOPE. BUT SOME OF THE SHIT HE SAYS IS STUPID. " HA HA!!!!! I SAID U DONT EVEN KNOW HOW DEEP THIS GUY IS. HE WILL MAKE ANY MC FROM WU LOOK LIKE CHILDREN SITTING IN A CLASS ROOM WITH HIM BEING THE TEACHER ( NO DISS TO WU. ITS JUS MY OPINION ). I STILL HAVE A HARD TIME TRYING TO UNDERSTAND HALF OF SHIT HE SPITS. AND I HAD HEARD HE WAS MAD DEEP ALREADY BUT DIDNT TRY PAYING ATTENTION TILL NOW. ILL SHIT.

  • UnIqUE! tang thang!

  • Amazing verse.

  • "Fuck the apple, I tackled and bit the serpent."

  • It would take one a long time to understand what the fuck he is on about.

But once you get it, it is out of this world.

I feel the same with MF Doom.

  • This dude deserved to have a proper album. He has two great albums, but still he (and hip hop) deserved more. Let that be a lesson: don't smoke leak and don't do business with RZA.

  • haha more views!!

  • i love how he isnt slack with the amount of bars

  • "tear open ya flesh like presents and thinner nightgowns"

  • Warcloud original style feeble minds can't take it! RAw

  • They enhanced this track by EQ. I remember the original track it sounded like it was done on a cassette multi-track recorder and you can hear a Killah Priest song bleed through a lil bit.

  • @XRAYZAKKONTATIK Oh wow, yeah i was wondering what the name of that other song was that i could hear in the bootleg version of this, so it was Killah Priest...thanks man.

  • @TheWuCepticon81 I know for sure it is on the Heavy Mental album. I haven't heard that album in a minute, so I dont remember the name of the track. It's the one with the saxaphone in the beginning.

  • "Inline skates, put in a pillowcase, swung for your face." Hard ass lyrics.

  • crazy tune

  • I love this track, but he calls himself Holocaust, and this was more during his off the wall Warcloud period. His delivery and rhymes are more like his Holocaust persona though so idk. Classic song either way.

  • shit.

  • "IF A MAN WAS TO TELL ME HE WASNT GOD, I WOOD HAVE TO ASK HIM WAT HE WAZ"... - HOLOCAUST-! (DOPE ASS SHIT!)

  • Comment removed

  • been lookin for track forever !!!! shit's fuckin sick!!!

  • love BSBD production.

    holocaust is da man.

  • Wait...I thought Lil Wayne was the most clever rapper alive

  • deeeep

  • lmao warcloud isn't dead, he just quit music. is there any level the wootang clan wouldn't stoop to anymore?

warcloud isn't a rapper, he's probably the greatest american writer since probably richard brautigan. funny how these days you die instead of gettin a nobel prize. oh wait, richard brautigan and philip k dick died by the 60s. wake the F up.

  • warcloud is dead?

  • @mursinary187 yes, unfortunately..

  • @asd848 how did warcloud die?

  • Comment removed

  • some of his lines are just fabulous.

tear open your flesh like presents and tinner nightgowns.

for the jealous always tell us that the enemy envies hatred and the deceitful lust, read it...

  • wooooooooow first time hearing these lyrics man this is how its done this nigga was the one but u know the good die young thats just how it is rip hip hop king

  • I love rap music

  • i want lyrics

  • Warcloud: Best poet alive.

  • this is the illlest shit ever

    fanders field

    peace

    themachine_777

  • peace to scarecrow that track came out tight...long beach is in the building with that one

  • best shit to come out of Long Beach

  • brilliant

  • ok i realy like this song but can someone tell me what its about cuz i dont get it at all

  • its about nothing/everything. thats just warclouds style

  • its about just talking u to a new world using his rhymes. most of his shit is. thats y he always says crazy, insane, impossible shit. listen to the chorus.

  • its about putting pictures in your head

    it doesent make sense

    listen to warcloud - America

that song puts picture after picture after picture in my head

and that is why i love warcloud

  • I agree. I like Warcloud...but it's also communication. If it's too convoluted, you have completely overthrown your point.

Someone just asked why doesn't music like this sell vs the simpler music, it's because it's easier to understand.

I personally would take this music myself, but I can't lie, it's gets somewhat distorted after a while.

  • Sasquatch-Yeti-Battalion With One Head

  • Another AKA Mr. Arms and Legs

  • unbelievable madness

  • Comment removed

  • ive never heard suck a unique style

  • It is dropped way before 2002!

Maybe a bit older than mad axes

  • u heard "mad axes" in 2002. this is same beat with different lyrics. no way this dropped anywheres before 2006.

  • this song is mad old, but the beat is good. i can remember hearing this in 2002

  • to be real technical, i think he had four "official" name changes. it went like holocaust, then warcloud, then architect (didn't last long), then robot tank (which REALLY didn't last long). but basically will always be known as warcloud / holocaust because that's what the majority of his material was done with those names.

  • How about Alcatraz?

  • another good alias you left out: THE BLOODY OLD MAN FROM L.A.

  • most of 'em are not so much AKA's but just really dope lines where he's referring to himself, eh. i really think he might wanna keep the real dopes ones like "trembling eagle" and "mr. chair hands" and "skeleton low" as actual a.k.a.s though. guy is like the best writer alive (inside or outside of hip hop), just in case you hadn't noticed. :-)

  • are all of those aka's his or the members of his group? if so how come so many aliases?

  • Thats all of his AKA's...

Idk why he has so many but I do know some of those names represent diff styles he has.

  • this. was . GREAT

  • kingdom of lyrics

  • Mad Axes has the same beat

  • This track is also on Smugging Booze or Nightmares that Surface from Shallow Sleep. It's one of those two.

    -gomgeya

  • ya'll should hear Howling Wolves with the black knights, he killed it!

  • i been following up on his music for years. nothing like him! he's amazing!

  • @vegaworks7 I second that!

  • @vegaworks7 what u mean theres nothing like him? what about the whole wu tang clan? where u think these ideas came from hey?

  • @blockow11 holocaust era maybe, but warcloud abstract style? No. I would love to hear someone similar so let me know if you can suggest someone who raps like warcloud that I might have missed

  • @Adularescence dude there are over 100 wu affiliates! Start diggin u'll find some similar styles/beats. He does have a pretty orginal flow, but thats more due to the sound of his voice rather than his rapping style i reckon.

  • @Adularescence Just a suggestion if u like ur underground Wu. One of my fav albums is Wisemen - Wisemen Approaching. Not as fast as warcloud but very similar sampled style and lyrics.

  • @blockow11 Thanks, I'll check him/them out.

  • @Adularescence In fact, Wisemen - Wisemen Approaching is my fav Wu affiliate album released in the last 5 years...gotta hit it up its 100% gold front to back.

  • @blockow11 Thanks for putting me on to Wiseman, I love Bronze Nazareth's beats :) I've been following the wu and the bee's for about 12 years so I've come across a fair few of the affiliates, but still can't think of any one I would class a similar to warcloud. His style varies a LOT but no else seems to be even remotely as abstract or as obscure as him. I hear PCP might have something to do with it.. :p

  • @Adularescence No probs man. Yea Pcp might have something to do with his style, sort of like ultramagnetic mcs back in the day, they were high as fuk most on those tracks and it produced individuality ! Ive been about 10 years into the wu now and forever. gotta give u credit, there isn't really anyone similar to warcloud. If you like this era of rapping tho and as close as i can get to him, check out "The Swarm" by Wu-Tang. Black Knights and more are on that album and its fukin classic 100% wu!

  • @blockow11 I agree with that ! For me the swarm, along with the Wu chronicles are only second to the collective and then the individual albums. Although that said some of the individual efforts can be pretty weak (Some U-god, INS and the later ODB stuff). But to be fair 1/2 the time that's mainly because the production on the albums is not by Rza, hence = Wack. I'm going to see the Wu in London in a few weeks, gonna be ill :)

  • @Adularescence oo dude gonna b so ill 2 c them! I live in Australia so they dont really come here often if at all. Yea some solo albums are weak, ur right, but I only listen to 90's hip hop really...cos once it hit about 2000 everyone knows what happened then (bling bling)! Rza's tracks are the ultimate wu, agreed! and always will be. Im still diggin masta ace and gza tho, those guys are still hard up in the rap game 2000+ era and dropped some soild ones in last couple years or so...

  • @blockow11 Hey not to be an annoying promoter, but you should give my stuff a listen if you like Warcloud. His flow is way better during this period, but it's his unfathomable abstract lyricism from the Black Sky Blue Death that has greatly influenced me as a rapper.

  • This song has alot more depth then most people would think. This guys a genius.

  • @viprium

Yea true took me a few times to understand his lyrics o.O

  • people think warclouds insane,

    i think hes fucking genius.

  • Comment removed

  • first track of his i've ever heard. So far so good.

  • Your behind the Warcloud power curve!! I had this song like 4 years ago!

  • warcloud can rap anything and make it sound like its only natural this is the type of word play im used to reading in a barker or edgar allan poe book ,

  • FUCK!This album is sick shit.

    10/5

  • Hotter than a million sunz

  • warcloud's just too dope all those complex words linked together AMAZING

  • In flanders fields poppys grow row on row

  • This song is about the greed in the hearts of man.

  • I am so compelled by this mutha fucker, especially when i get blazed.

  • WTF is this nigga talking about!?

  • everything and nothing at the same time

  • instead of trying to find one single meaning behind the words i tend to paint pictures in my mind,, one of the reasons i like this guy,, still fun to analyze his stuff though

  • Does anybody know what he is talking about? His lyrics is pretty wierd and doesnt make any sence, at one point he seems to be talking about war, than next butterflies? Pretty akward if you ask me? Like where the hell is he leading with this song??

  • that's the whole point, it's all over the place. it's stream of consciousness, abstract poetry. takin rap above the mundane typical crap.

  • calladuz said :

lol several of those lines are directly from the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae. The poem is a Canadian national icon.

  • I'm not sure who said this, but I think this is solid proof that Warcloud's lyrics have true meaning, it's just nearly impossible to decipher his messages with the 'naked ear' alone, so to speak. It's like studying some kind of ancient hieroglyph or something, I'd like to meet this guy just to ask what the meaning or inspiration (aside from drugs, of course) is behind his work.

  • The best thing to do is to not listen to the song and print out the lyrics. Its easier to figure out that way.

  • exactly, people compare him to aesop rock. but aesop just babbles about shit, and theirs no backing to it. warclouds the opposite.

  • Where can I see the interview.

  • Just on youtube put in (warcloud interview). it should be the first video.

  • this real wu tang!

  • 3 yrs left muhfuggas! have fun while you can........

  • What are you talking about dumbass

  • i think he is referring the the end of the world that was predicted in the aztec calendar which im guessing is what he got out of this song

  • Mayan calendar. The aztecs just did good math

  • warcloud is such an amazing artists. one of the hidden talents of the wu tang clan

  • Death before riches, kingdom of good barbarians

Circumstances of development leading up to the previous

Where the day takes you, placed within the sun

Crush all the village cowards, devour 'til sin is done

    fuuuckk...

  • who better warcloud or lupe fiasco

  • warcloud by far

  • complete different styles cant compare them some will say lupe some will say warcloud

  • why is lupe even brought up??Are you a fucking faggot with cocks in his face daily??

  • lol Common said if I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't mean that I'm hating :) u, my friend, are hating.

Lupe is dope, but both are just so different u can't even compare placement in hiphop history.

  • LMFAO Warcloud and lupe should not be compared.

  • yeah man, i wtf'd

  • fuck yea

what I think are who are we to sit here discussing who is better when non of us are on their level

  • 2 different styles man, warcloud is like more symbolic and trippy and wierd, Lupe talks about more like politics and and shit thats happening in the world, so like thiers no real comparision, they both kick ass though

  • oi does any 1 no were i can get this shit?

  • warclouds' sickest shit ever!!

    someone know how?

    what album are this music?

  • The Escapism

    an unreleased album by warcloud.

  • fukin ill man this guy is fukin insane

  • Warcloud is unreal

I dont really understand how he writes shit like this.

    Its absolutely awesome though.

Best rapper ever, and most imaginative.

  • Acid.

  • most of his songs are real stories or legends, he just puts stories into lyrics

  • Hang em high...Lyrically rare

  • i fuck with holocaust...but what the fuck is he talking about....

  • Sometimes you gotta listen passively. Dont listen to him too hard. The wisdom and knowledge shines when you aren't trying to break down every line. Just listen to it period.

But damn, how does he write? Does anyone know if he does dust or acid? If I had no idea who he was I would think he does dust like Cage and Tame One. Same style of music.

  • I know, i use to be a big ghost fan "still am" back when he use to say crazy ass shit...but anyway we called it abstract hip hop...like a painting splattered on the canvass...

  • can't no one fuck with Warcloud too fucken good

  • dope shit, make me sick, not the sound, the other bad hiphop on earth!

  • Dope Shit.

  • I'm a big fan, but some of the random stuff he spits make me lol hard.

    "land mammals return to sea

    rivers turn to blood

some chew cotton candy with glee"

    "inline skates in a pillowcase

    swingin' at your face"

    Amazing.

  • he does say some off the wall shit some times...like u god...and ghost face use to that shit "6 in a half monkies, 12 nazis"

  • the humble young merchant, eighty minds in one person

  • Best West Coast rapper ever...
