you should have drilled little holes in the back of the skull and then like put LED lights in them to give it the blue effect

Oh yeah, one more advice, alginate is disposable, and it shrinks while it dries, plus it's so fragile. Try silicon ruber for the mold.

My favorite Indiana Jones special effect is the mine cart chase from "Temple of Doom."

I heard that they used tin foil, clay, dirt, and miniatures to make that. Very clever.

Also, the used stop-motion photography.

Well, it must have been a good idea because it won them an oscar for best visual effects in 1984.
