  • Also, you forgot The Necromancer and The Fountain of Lamneth

  • You left out so many good songs. La Villa Strangiato? Both of the Cygnus x-1 songs? Xanadu? Circumstances? All the rest of 2112? You call yourself a Rush fan

  • ???? Moving Pictures was released in 1981, Permanent Waves in 1980... What's the problem? Metallideth1120 is right!

Great list! I liked it =) although I don't agree with you on The Spirit of Radio, I think the best song they had could be La Villa Strangiato (at least from the progressive era). Good effort. Liked it.

  • I was surprised that there weren't any picks from Power Windows or Hold Your Fire,

mainly Emotion Detector or Lock and Key...

  • no Passage to Bangkok!?!?!?! overall good picks though (:

  • nice

  • Am I the only one who has Jacob's Ladder and Xanadu fighting for #1?

  • Good list, good for you not listing tom sawyer (like the song but it's slightly overated in my opinion). Here is my list 10. The Camera Eye 9. Prime Mover 8. Digital Man 7. Superconductor 6. Marathon 5. Jacobs Ladder 4. Grand Designs 3. The Spirit of Radio 2. Xanadu 1. The Big Money
  • Permanent Waves was not released in 1980. Moving Pictures was released that year. Waves was out in 1979.

  • @imXaXteapot2112 oh okay my mistake....this was the first year i ever listened to Rush so i'm still not familiar with their chronology

  • @imXaXteapot2112 Permenent Waves WAS released in 1980 (January 1st) and moving pictures was out in 1981. The band does refer to these albums being released in 79 and 80 because that was the year they were written and recorded

  • @imXaXteapot2112 Permanent Waves came out January First 1980

  • @imXaXteapot2112 no he was right permanent waves was released on january 1, 1980 moving pictures was released on febuary 12, 1981

  • @imXaXteapot2112

Moving pictures was released in 1979 o.o

  • @imXaXteapot2112 You are wrong, Permanent Waves was out January 1st 1980 and Moving pictures was released Febuary 12 1981. The misconception might have come from the fact that rush refers to those albums coming out at that time because they were written the year earlier

  • @imXaXteapot2112 Moving Pictures came out in 1981. Permanent Waves came out in 1980.

  • Nice job on the vid dude! Great songs!

  • @axlslash808z thanks man

  • i agree man (except my favorite is limelight)

  • @mklemchek227 thats a good song..

  • great job...i love rock n roll. and for the rock world to not give credit to them is a shame. they are the most underated band in history.

  • @pipefitter353 yea definifitely...gotta love Rush
