this was declared one of the best castlevaina games in 3D it worked very well intell they relesed castlevaina 64 with the same back grounds and sometimes the same music

Legacy of Darkness IS Castlevania 64. It was the stuff they couldn't get in the game in time. Consider it a Director's Cut and Prequel; it was also released AFTER Castlevania 64.

@tank12344 This game came out AFTER Castlevania 64. And seeing as this was the 2nd of only two 3D castlevania games out at the time, and an obvious upgrade over it's predecessor, OF COURSE it was the best 3D castlevania game out.

These games both did miserably (I liked both) however. Konami didn't have the balls to try another 3D castlevania game until Lament of Innocence for the PS2 in Fall of 03'.
