@dylans8 Yes I am open to debate, buy there is little point in arguing if another has a set belief it is unlikely they would change their belief. Father God merely put the ingredients upon the earth (which come about naturally form the sun) for the physical trigger of life to happen and gave it spirit to then go onto evolve as it has done so to the modern day. Science says life has been on earth for about 3.2 billion years, so about that time I guess.

@spiritspeakscouk I am also aware that some people find great peace and comfort from seeing a medium etc. im also aware that vulnerable people can be damaged greatly by being given false hope .I presume that most mediums do not have any councelling qualifications and are indeed maybe without realising causing untold emotional damage . Why do mediums etc avoid testing ? simple they know they would fail thats the logical explanation .the fox sisters have alot to answer for

@dylans8 Well many mediums give good readings with evidential proof or a loved one in spirit and all that o to them go because they wish to and they have their own free will to excet or reject what they are given. Hey why should they be tested they have faith in their gift and have not need to be tested to proove it to themselves or those that go to them, as what they give speaks for itself. Their are some charlatans and phonies for the money. Most spiriutalist mediums do not charge.

My definition would be for full names full dates to be provided when giving a reading to a stranger in conditions where cheating can be discounted. It is of course true that psychics have faith in their ability .It is also true that psychics avoid proper scrutiny.

Some can give such proof, but spirit can only work with mediums to their level of deveopment and what they are capable of relaying. Its not a fine art, it an attunement to percieve spirit that exist in a much higher state of vibration as they are etheric in nature and only tangable through the sixth senses. Its simple really could any psychic on earth tell me my mothers maiden name and the date she died . The cold reading techniques often seen and heard do convince many people. but being told you have a e name or a b name it could be betty or bert etc etc doesnt stand up to scrutiny.the fox sisters eventually owned up

Who knows maybe one day someone will provide proper evidence but i myself doubt it. i actually admire the skill of cold readers . fooling people is very easy proving your claims are genuine is harder

@dylans8 I think you are really avoiding the real question. It a personal one, you doubt but you want to believe, you want to know if their is life after this life. You want to know are my loved ones still alive in the afterlife or not? Will I survive death? The biggest question you have is how can I find out? I see fakes but just maybe some are genuine? But how could I know without defined evidence. The answer is have faith in yourself and be open then the answer will find you.

@spiritspeakscouk well with respect your last response is way off. My concern is that people call themselves psychics or mediums without having any qualification to do so. They cause untold harm to vulnerable people and of course the psychics themselves are either deluded or fake. I do not believe that you or anyone else is in touch with anything other than their own imagination . i believe psychics should be licensed by way of a fair test . test is a word psychics hate

@dylans8 You can only licence mediums or psychic to say they act within certain rules, you cannot test their ability to be good or bad.. it the same with a healer, you can test they give the healing in the correct method, you cannot test if they are giving good healing or none at all.

@dylans8 All you want to see is your own bias opion is that it is harmfull. You do not see the many it helps, just the few who do get a reading from a phonie. Wherever you go in life their are some who will take advantage of others, this is the real world we are living in , you would like to see it stopped I am sure, but then you create a police state which does not allow for medium and those that wish to go to them so it has to be left to freewill and faith.

@dylans8 Most good mudiums only wish to help people to know that their loved ones in spirit are ok. Spiritualist are about prooving the continual existance of all life after this life by giving evidential messages from spirit to loved ones here and 90% of the people that do get a message are convinced it is their loved one, a few are reserved and a very small number do not beleif. Thats free will.

It is widely accepted that the earth is between 4.5 and 5.5 billion years old and that the big bang initiated life..However it remains the case that no one ever has provided one shred of evidence that we survive death . in my view psychics/mediums do nothing more than cold read and use their minds to produce imagery etc

well you use the same excuses Ive heard many people use. As for seeing mediums etc ive done extensive research seeing over 300 psychics .All could not give me any evidence whatsoever .Excuses are many .if someone could prove we survive death in some way it would be probably the greatest discovery in history .yet strangely no psychic wants to be tested in a way that prevents cheating and there are 10.000s of people who say the are psychic but not one wants to prove it as i describe

@dylans8 You expect anyone to give a skeptic any kind of proof you are not open to it, if you went with an open mind you might then get something. I am not making excuses. I said I cannot give you a reading because I cannot hear spirit right now, so that's just being honest. I think you will find many who are aware of spirit, want to be of service and many charge nothing for it, those that do charge are sometimes dubious as to their motives.

@dylans8 I wish I could give you a message, but spirit give what they want to give, not always necessarily what we ask them. I'd be happy to give you a message, but I am not a medium and do not pretend to be one. If my ability develops later on, I will.

Maybe you should try going to a couple of good mediums and give it the benefit of the doubt and see what happens. Just saying they are all cold reading without personally investigating it, is a bit presumptuous.

@dylans8 By the way psychics do not give messages from spirit mediums do, psychics only read the person on the earth, they do not sense spirit or give messages from spirit. The truth is why waste your time talking to a skeptic, even if I could give you a message and it was 70% accurate you would still denigh it right? Sensing spirit is not easy and even a good medium only gets from 60% to sometimes at best 95% correct.

But you are wrong as I personally have been given evidence that 100% confirms a spirit loved one or spirit guide has been around me when I asked them a question and a medium a few days later said you asked spirit this and this is there answer. Plus loved ones of told me of many things we did together while they were upon the earth. Sorry friend you are wrong. Many are given such evidential proof.

@DJNardini Took a few wrong steps in the first place and picked up a few spirit who think it amusing to block my guides out, but it is being resolved I hope in the next few months, spirit are telling me good things through other mediums.

@DJNardini Most mediums have time when they are more aware or less aware. It is sometime because we are not listening to our guides. We are trying to do our own thing to much and they withdraw. So we need ot stop and meditae again and let them lead us and teach us what they wish to and how. No I am blocked in a different way to this. Sleep paralysis mormally happen as we return from astral projectio, th physical body has to be kept still while the spirit settles back into body.

It's unfortunate that there are so many charlatans out there. Here in the states there have been so many that there are laws that truly limit those who are real.  It's really a shame as most who can channel spirit become very reclusive and it's only the fakes who want to make lots of money and cheat people who are the ones you can easily find. It's an awful cycle that keeps feeding itself.

@Dustwalker73 Yes I understand what you are saying and the USA is by far in the for front of alternative spirituality if it can be called that. It is a great shame, although there are some reliable places but they are all oganisations like the spiritualist and not everyone wants to go to a organised religion even though many spiritualists see it as more of a movements rather than a religion, which it is mostly to get tax exemption.
