@msromyilano Yahoo Music has this offical video, the one where they're all in the neon painted room with the day glow colors all around. Very 80s, early 90s and very rad! The audio quality is awesome with it too. Pass that link when you find it to other Ned Heads. Forget Google, Yahoo has all the forgotten music we grew up with. Well I'm a cross over from the 80s to the 90s and like both decades.

@PunchDrunkReality I thought I heard somewhere that WHFS moved to AM or something like that. About 4 years ago or so, I think they did the last HFStival, as I recall.
@spins321 Yup, 99.1 has become a Spanish station. I don't know where on the dial they are now, somewhere in DC on a little station. They are around but hard to find. Yeah, I saw so many bands at the HFStivals too.
i was 19 when this came out. i hear it and think about those times. they were the most beautiful times in my life. i listen to this feel how i felt then and cry out of happiness. to be 19 again.
@bassdub7 it reminds me my skateboarding years around '93 and i feel the exactly the same...the best era of my life..best vibes..best feelings..those days had soul and everything used to seem possible..bring those days back!!!!
@Standard420247 I'll agree that the God Fodder version has more oomph etc, but hearing this version i would say although a tad slower it's more raw and gritter. I like it though.
LOVE IT!!!! This song takes me back.... We use to skateboard all Summer long with this on the boombox, hanging out in various spots, skating our asses off, being a bunch of punks. I still skate, but now I have a son who is into it as well... Anyhow, great song!
First time I heard this was on KROQ. I had moved from Missouri to LA in 1988. WTF was this Rodney guy? he had all the good tunes! I can hear it my head like it was yesterday "Here's a band from the UK that has the fresh, new sound we're all looking for" How the hell I saw them in Lawrence, Kansas a few later is still a mystery to me. But a good one.
@mediamonarchy Awesome, my first concert ever was the '94 HFStival my junior year of high school. Amazing lineup. I was madly in love with Juliana Hatfield. For me that concert was like a musical montage of the 90's. Well, at least the first half anyway. (the best half)
still a very cool song... was in high school at the time when this came out... not a very popular song or group at that time.. atleast not where im from...
My mate sprayed a massive Neds symbol in red primer on the bonnet of his metallic bronze Vauxhall Viva. I had very "unusual" hair. I was young once. Now I feel old. It isn't fair.
@HazeFerRillz could you possibly put it up even as just an audio track? I'd like to link to it just because I feel people should be able to hear the better version.
@TheNewMusicNetwork we are experiencing technical difficulties that we don't expect to go away soon. But i will play it really loud on my stereo for all near to hear.
went to an awesome show in st louis.it was at the hight of my liking this band.one of the funnest nights of my life.my best friends were with me.i must have been 18yrs old.it was awesome.
This song caught my attention immediately the first time I saw the video on good ole mtv 120 minutes. It's got everything, emotion, strong vocals, driving beat it just rocks all the way around as much today as it did over twenty years ago.
Every band from this and every other era has cunts commenting on how they sold out, it wasnt the bands it was the genre ffs. It all comes to an end, its just being there at the start that counts. Good times, good times man.
@PokeyCola Selling out is a word that know one understands. Fact of life is you want to be able to support yourself. Making money by being exposed so more people like you is not selling out. Being in a band is just a job that you like to do, a sellout is a band that totally changes their music style because a record label wants them too and they are willing to do it. That does not mean they make shitty music, it is the point they did it to conform to a record labels demands to make a buck...
@Standard420247 there's that but many bands didn't care if they made it big or not as long as they could play locally. i don't know how many hardcore punk bands has this ethic. they also used to say selling out was making a record back in the early 80s. lofl that's how crazy it was.
@PokeyCola edgy music never sells out. let's get that straight right away. there used to be good edgy pop music, billy idol, the go gos, etc. stuff today isn't so edgy as it is freakshow cheesey.

Love this song. Haven't heard it in forever. Thanks for the post. I agree that its not the same version as the one im familiar with but a good song is a good song.
Um...what's up with this version of this song?? This is quite inferior to the version of "Grey Cell Green" that's on the "God Fodder" CD! Sounds like a demo or something......
This version is from the Ingredients EP, which preceded God Fodder on their indie label. I like this one better, it has a bit more bite (no pun intended).
Man do I miss the 90's. After this era, all those shitty bands with white nerds rapping over a cheesy metal riif ruined rock and roll....for a few years anyway. Korn-limp-linkin-bizkit-park etc.
to put it in the same words...but different, I go to my favorite punk band of this era; Propagandhi. "Rebels bloated on Korn, Eminem and Bizkits". Beautiful and sums up your point well. Kudos to you LL5000.
@Sheels1976 "Remember when you could turn on the radio and every song was good?" The hell? I remember all of the 90s quite well, and no, I honestly can't say I recall a time like that.

This version is from the Ingredients EP, which preceded God Fodder on their indie label. I like this one better, it has a bit more bite (no pun intended).

Thanks for the info, but I'm going to have to say I like the version from "God Fodder" a whole lot more.......

I saw Ned's many times in the early nineties. This is my favourite Ned's tune, wish i was in the pit right now.

I think this song was playing when I got my first blowjob. For obvious reasons, it is sacrosant.
