  • Hahahaha I love VII!!!

  • I like the deceptive cadence at 0:20. That's the way I acted when I first heard it.

  • From which theory do you get the emotions for each function degree? There have been a few different ones throughout history.

  • de plus le pianiste joue pas mal

  • what chord is "Z"??

  • @caracterav I believe that's an "N" which is a Neapolitan chord. AKA flat II6 (flat major two first inversion)

  • @caracterav Napolitain chord based on the IIb.

  • These are wonderful, I really like these, and would love to see this developed further into for instance synaesthesia, i.e. people who "see" the music in colours. But I must ask one thing, what's with the hand gesture with the roman numeral "V" ? is that a hand-imitation of a gun, or what?

  • You should become a conductor. With hands in the pockets :)

  • I must agree that the V chord has way, way too much 'tude. Perhaps a facial expression of anticipation would be more apt.

  • you must do the same with the andantino of sonata D.959 (schubert)

    Xxx

  • what is that function at 0:38

  • which cd did you get this version of concerto 23? its so hard to find a good version and this one is great

  • Brilliant.

  • The chord at 1:19 doesn't sound like V ... the melody has le. What am I missing?

  • @JorgeOrpinel probably because it's a chord without its fundamental (it's a dim 7th chord - in F# minor, a chord of C# without a C#)

  • @zviane Actually, that chord acts as the dominant of Bminor (IV of F# min), so it lacks of F#, not C#.

  • @zviane

You're right, JorgeOrpinel, the function is either a V7(b9)(no root), or frankly VIIº7. Functionally both are the same. Melody-wise, however, the root of the VII resolves in a much more smoother way, which is appropriate for this unstable and emotional passage. (After all, it is Mozart ;-)

  • @JorgeOrpinel Because this chord is in first inversion ( 6) with the third in the bass.

  • Loved the N expression.

  • Creative and wonderful!

  • 1:13 is perfection.

  • Haha pas mal !! =)

  • MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE .....

  • Fantastic

  • Awesome! I love it! Post more!

  • GREAT....

  • more please!!!!!

  • What is name of this concert of Mozart?

  • @candymnq It's the second movement of the 23rd piano concerto

  • @zviane thanks

  • Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • N6 is awesome!

  • Muy bueno!

  • 5 of 5 is the Greatest! These are wonderful videos.

  • Brilliant!

  • tout simplement magnifique. Merci de partager votre travail

    :-)

  • BRAVO!!! C une idée brillante!!

  • Magnifique. Le I a 0:35 cést majeur (4-3)?

  • Hahaha la napolitaine me fait rire à chaque fois.

  • j'adore ! bravo !

  • jajjajjaja el II nap. es genial!!!!!!!!! FELICITACIONES!

  • "N" signifie "sixte napolitaine" (ou bII)

  • qu'est ce qui "N" signifie?

  • @JosephGlaser N6 = neapolitan 6th, it is the chord of II flat. in C major it is the chord of D flat major, almost always used in 1st inversion resolving to V (G major)
