Scouts Canada's membership is dwindling. This is due to the watered down morals and values. John Pettifer stated that, "society has changed radically, and we are now moving towards a gender-neutral society, and scouting has to keep up with that as we move into the next century." Talking about tolerance and diversity unfortunately creates a very politically correct environment.
iv been in scouts for over 10 years now since i was 4 years old,
and it helped me through alot of things ifit was not for scouts i would be one the streets and or possibley dead thank you scouts canada and keep up the great work and for the people who are thinking of joining please for the love of god do it it will help you and your family great experiences and friends and scout canada did not pay me to do this lol
I'm sorry... and call me what you will... but I want through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers years ago.... I know time changes everything and blah blah blah but Scouts was the last boys-only organization for us young guys and it should have damn well stayed that way. If I'm sexist, then so be it, I stand by it. We probably got away with alot more back then before the all-inclusive PC attitude got ahold of this great piece of boyhood. I loved everything about Boy Scouts.

I've met so many great people through scouting aswel,and had the chance to go to many differant countrys, one of them being canada, which was just last month.
Scouting is such a good opportunity for everyone. and everyone i know in scouting thinks the same.
