I was actually most impressed by how he gamed the other guy..."do you ever get sick of it?" He's not insulting him but the subtext is "you have a lame job." And the guy responds by qualifying himself "I'm a manager so it's ok," which devalues himself to the PUA. Brilliantly done.

I do think he was a *bit* harsh on the girl, overdid it with the negs at times. It is better to stimulate her with a broad range of emotions--mix in compliments (but not her looks!)
