Tony De Vit the dj who inspired me to become a dj back in 96/97 will always be the No 1 for me TDV god father of hard house and sadly missed just wish it was me you spotted and not Fergie lol.
Awesome footage, nice to see his face again.had the pleasure of knowing Tony when I lived in the Uk such an awesome person a legend on the decks an production. still think of him often miss him dearly xx
What a superb tribute. He made so many people very happy indeed and is still one of the best ever. Let's hope there're a couple of turntables with TDV playing in heaven
When I was DJing i did some gigs with Tony, he was a real nice bloke and really down to earth, I was surprised when I met him because i met many other young dj's who were pricks. So good to see some of tonys personality in this vid and him as a kid. Top Bloke, top, top bloke, we miss you Tone.
he came to our local dive in st ives in cornwall about 1994, and played at a little but absolutley bangin club called the shirehorse(oh the memores) and he diddent dissapoint the mans a legend and his tunes will never die. r.i.p.
Does anyone remember the legendry track called Welcome by the Comittee which went"I said shut up, Rock ya baby rock ya baby"always used by Tony.I have looked everywhere for it.Plese help!!!
Every weekend, trips to London just to see this legend Tony De Vit play is appealing unique sound. The ultimate King of House.Met him believe it or not in club Uk toilets after playing an amazing set!!!!!The most loved house dj and still a legend in my eyes.Thankyou Tony for all those top nights out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loving this footage. Wow. Thank you sooo much. I have just had the biggest trip down memory lane. Right back to those fantastic Sunday nights at the Nightingale. Sniffin and Screamin my tits off whenever he slammed in a new track. Every tune was yet another climax. God is so lucky to have you around. A special man x Miss u
I was very fortunate to meet Tony on a number of occassions, mainly in Trade and also Plymmouth on the Peir.
Thank you Tony for making my twenties the most enjoyable years of my life. Hope you are having a ball in Disco heaven, where Turnmills is soon to be returned to you!!!
