i have this for my xbox360. yet, i was facing this boss FOREVAH.u know y? glitches.once, i jumped where his hand should be,and i was flung towards the outside of the screen.also, i just keep dying randomly.its wiiird for me.

At my grandparents I spent like 4 weeks from 7am to 10pm trying to get to get up to this boss... I was six then and I like got up here and after like 8 hits I was like "omg! yay! I win" *dies* "nooo! out of lives!"

Then my cousin came up to me, says "this is how you do it"

she completes the game in less than an hour with all chaos emeralds :/

Well, believe it or not, when someone is six, they don't normally have a job, and if it is Summer Break they aren't normally in school. So put that with a good fun game and normally kids will spend hours upon hours playing them.

@MetroGamerX LOL this robot, Big Arm, Eggsterminator, Final Hazard and Dark Gaia are just the most epic final boss in a Sonic game, I love them, they just make me feel like I'm really fighting against a destruction god or robot, I feel like all the World is in my hands, just like Sonic. Whatever, Death Egg Robot is probably harder than Sonic 2 GG first boss!

i remember battling this boss in the original version. everytime i loose at this boss a get easily mad even though i prepared myself for this boss. but i never gave up at beating him. me and brother counted how many he was from my attack when i finally beat him all alone in my stress. though i hate that arm attack :l

00:20 - Tails watches outside as fire begins to consume the large dome in the sky. He grabs his aviator goggles and turns on the Tornado.

00:36 - Sonic realizes that he might not make it out alive as he rushes towards a breach in the Death Egg.

01:00 - The Death Egg explodes. Sonic is nowhere to be found. Tails is flying,searching. Sonic lands. *repeats*

Hearing this makes me think of an outtake from Star Trek Voyager when the actor who played Tuvok was approaching a cave from one of the episodes and said "No way I'm going in there!" and runs off while people are laughing.

This music makes me think of that, the threatening tone of it and knowing that there's some big robot waiting to smash you into a paste.
