APC40 - Echo Dub Trio - Smoking a Joint in the Middle of the Vietnam War

i understand you use arrangement view, but where do you get the seperate tracks from. do you make a song yourself first? Or, do you get a song with seperate tracks from somewhere. I'm a live user and love dub, would like to give it a try but all my reggae tunes are on one track. any suggestions on how to get the seperate tracks going is appreciated.

@pmGOdrums hey there, i make the majority of the tracks, except for the occasional loop. It's very hard to find separate tracks. There are a few bob marley songs available via torrent. best of luck. cheers!

Hey man! Love your videos. Very inspiring. Im in thoughts of switching from hardware to ableton, takes too much space at home with all the instruments. But the effects you are using, reverb, echo, phaser etc, is that the integrated effects in Live, or is it some stand alone effects?

where are your tracks playing? no clips lit in the grid matrix?.nice tune thou.

Hey man, the tracks are playing in the arrangement view. Like a old 8-track recorder. I just rearrange the tracks with faders and effects.

The intention is to manipulate a finished reggae tune, not to arrange one live. Just like the good old dub engineers.
