I named My cpap machine (When it comes to me of course!, Im still waiting on it's arrival) BREATHIE!..HEEHEE...because it will help me BREATHE quieter during my sleep!. No more snoring for me!!, I can't wait!, Ive been making my family suffer with my snoring problem, that i want to do something about it, and little Breathie will help me with that. through a sleep study, and lo and behold, I HAVE SLEEP APNEA!! YAY!!!..LOL!!....well, NOW i was prescribed a cpap machine, (Which I haven't gotten yet). I have gone through dozens of CPAP UTUBE videos to learn about sleep apnea, and cpap machines and how to use them..and I stumbled upon..YOU..YAYYY!!!. =D...I saw your cpap video, and your update vids too, and i am now very happy because I have found my CPAP hero....YOU. =D (Puts on CPAP CHARLENE #1 hat) =D..I want to tell you to keep the faith..

My name is Jose, Im a 36 year old christian male, that was just diagnosed with sleep apnea. I was diagnosed about a week ago.( I also have a birth defect called Spina Bifida) I didnt know I had Sleep Apnea untill I went to my neurologist to check up on my brain shunt. he asked me if I was sleeping well, and I told him yes, but that I wanted to know why I snored so much, so he made me go....

I tried the nasal but they don't stay in and I am a mouth breather. I have a forehead pad now that really helps me.

I read your cpap story keep at it ! I found I had a enlarged heart (heart failure), then found the root of the problem was waking up 46 times a hour at a stem cell study . Snoring causes so much effort, you can as I did not breath while "asleep". My oxygen saturation levels dropped so low my brain could have "forgotten" to tell me to take a breath every once and awhile. One year on a cpap and my heart went down in size allowing normal blood flow. I have a new life with a big smile. Keep it up !

Thank you! I wore a arm band for 3 days to figure what made me jerk and twitch thru out the night sometimes 6-8 times. Luckily I craved fruit. Mild sleeping pills were no help and still waiting for results of the tests. If I sleet long I feel terrible, if I sleep 5-6 hrs I feel better but run out of energy early thru the day. Thank you for sharing; we are not alone!:)

I love waking up with energy, feels very good. My body won't let me eat breakfast. I hate running out of hangers!! OMG! I am so glad you're feeling better. It makes a difference when you feel good. Sounds like you are keeping busy. yeah, kids always are hungry. hehe

I have not in years felt like I had any energy when I woke up. I always feel like I need to go back to bed and I could sleep for 24/7 but yesterday I was so shocked. Now today on the other hand I was sleepy just about the entire day. But my machine did loose air last night. I kept having to adjust it.

well today I woke up not so great. But there is always tomorrow. But I did notice my mask was not sealed good last night it kept losing the air out my mask on my face. That wasn't fun. I woke up one time on my stomach and was like wth. lol I have always loved to sleep like that and since the mask I havent' figured it out yet. But I guess I did last night. lol

you might need to get a sleep study. I knew there was something wrong with me. I never could sleep and I felt like I was sleepy all the time and so tired I could hardly go.
