  • in PA blue is vol. firefighter color

  • @birdsboro7 Nice

  • what color of leds do u got?

  • @firefighter31256 Amber, blue and white

  • Why would you use blue for snow plowing and not just double up on the ambers?

  • @Drako0099 I used blue because it is what colour we use for plowing in Ontario. I now use blue and amber to the rear and sides and amber to the front.

  • put some blue ass hids init and some headlight wig wags

  • are they waterproof?

  • @beastgrizz of course

  • @zootoo63 where did you get em?

  • @beastgrizz I sell warning lights. Are you interested in some? I have alot to choose from in Amber LED's and I am one of the cheapest around.

  • @zootoo63 Really? well i would like a set of 4 green led's for the grill of a 97 Grand am and a small light bar.

    thanks

  • @beastgrizz how much for tha set up on tha front?

  • looks good man. idk about you , but im certainly looking forward to the snow flying! and the plow workin!

  • @mrskillz8910 I cant wait. If you like it, subscribe, I bought a new HD camcorder and I have switched over to all amber this season, but I wont give any more details because I am keeping it a secret :) Thanks for the comment

  • @zootoo63 haha i got a new box, so im switching over to instead of having 2 tir3's on the back amber, im gonna have 2 lin 4's split white/ amber mounted to the back of the box, and moving the tir3's to the sides of the box. should be good! i will have it up in a couple weeks

  • Any emergency colors like red or blue are illegal in Kansas. We had to do green underglows because we got a ticket for blue.

  • You'll notice in the MTO regs it says "highway" so they probably won't bother you plowing your driveway anyway. I'd leave them on and if a cop says anything to you, ask him to produce the Highway Traffic Act and read it to you. It's a load of shit really. Unless you are racing up and down the street pulling people over, no cop is going to waste their time on it. They look really good, I'd leave them on there.

  • Im leaving them on, but switching the colour..i was riding around last night in the snow with them on and a couple cars actually pulled over for me, although that was not my intentions at all, just providing warning so people could see me in the snow..I immediately turned them off when they did, because I didnt want any confusion..but if i run amber, people will know my intentions and will not think of my as a police service

  • MTO says; "A police department vehicle may carry lights that cast red and blue, but no other motor vehicle shall carry lights that cast red and blue to the front. No person shall operate a vehicle that carries a light which produces intermittent flashes of blue light on a highway except; a road service vehicle that is engaged in plowing, applying salt, chemicals, or road abrasives. Or a police vehicle together with a light that produces intermittent flashes of red light." I'd leave them on.

  • Really nice light package. Too bad blue is now illegal in Ontario for anyone other than police and municipal/government snowplows. Contractors and private snowplow operators can no longer use them. A buddy of mine got nailed for a blue strobe on his pickup while plowing. Has to be amber now. MTO or the police can issue you a ticket and force you to remove them, even on private property. That's not Rush, by the way. Might want to look into that.

  • it was rushed b4 youtube made me change it. and it is legal to use blue only if amber is present at the same time..but after this season I am switching to all amber, except possibly the one blue to the rear..

  • really danggg they high or something lol

  • my setup here cost over 400...

  • hey where do u get these cheapp??

  • no where

  • How did you mount those to your racks?

All I can find online are adhesive backed which would be no good for me

  • i went to a local welder, and he custom made some brakcets for me to use

  • pretty cool dude

  • what type of external battery are you using

  • it was an energizer. but thats not how i do it. that was jsut for the vid. its actually hooked into teh actual atv battery

  • Tryin to buy some lights to go above or beside it's lights

  • cool, im buyin some lights and i have a can am too!!

  • what are you buying?

  • where did you buy the lights?

  • Nice lights, why are you using a external battery?

  • im nopt anymore. check my new vid out. this was just a quick vid

  • Ok, great... Thanks

  • nice outlander. wouldntve chosen green but its still very nice. lovin those lights, must make it very easy to see even during heavy snow storms.

  • its blue not green. green is used for firefighter povs

  • how did you attatch the lights to the switch

  • with the wires???

  • where did you buy the switch box

  • its a lighted switch you can buy one anywhere that vehicle products are sold

  • Comment removed

  • what type of switch box are you using

  • just one lighted switch

  • CREED!! I LOVE CREED!!!

  • I'm wanting an outlander 500 it'll go great with a polaris sportsman 500 that i already have...

  • i have a 01 sportsman 500 and a 04 sportsman 700 twin

  • Yeah i know that there LED's but i call them strobes because they do strobe effects and like an arrow stick. In the back.

  • Good Strobes, But My Opinion Is Put More On The Back To Warn Motorist Behind You. I Rated This 5 Star Video. Check Out My Strobes On My ATV.

    Cody.

  • what do you mean more? i'm pretty sure everyone who drives behind me gets pissed off at me since my lights are blinding them. and those are LEDs not strobes.

  • How do you install your tir6? I had to make some special support...

  • i had some custom brakets made up from a welder

  • To tell you the truth I just got a hard-on looking at that bike. not in a gay way though

  • glad to hear :P

  • i think you should hook this directly to your quad battery...i dont know why the tir6's are running off a seperate battery? but great setup!

  • this isnt my setup. my real setup is in my otehr video. please look at teh other video and youw ill see the actual setup and they are hooked up to that battery becasue its easier for the time. i have them hooked to the actuall battery now, this vid is just a visual.

  • oh i see! nice....!

  • Entirely un necessary for plowing. But awsome!! : )

  • haha. to me they are necessary, primarily for safety but also, i is a law here in ontario canada

  • nice!!

  • hell yeah man i like those. they seem alot brighter then the old ones!!!

  • its not even comparable in brightness. but heres the catch. i spent about $350 on the lights and u spent 20 bucks on yours.

  • Very nice! I have the same quad (same color)a 2008. I plan to plow as well here in NH. Have you thought about a back up light?

  • Ya. that will prob be my next project. do u have any warning lights for your quad? and mines a 2007
