@deadnightshinobi shame, bet its cool, it would have to be with those influences and ability, i kinda got in to a metalica etc cover band when i was 18, whipped me in to shape ha ha 38 now ha ha still love many forms of music, i try and practice out of my comfort zone a lot say learn a some jazz or country or something, i love my chicago blues too, thats taken year to develope, i play it in a band with my father :D

@Azereiah Alot of people say that. Go down to your local guitar store(not guitar center) and actually try one out. I was planing on buy a Jackson for $600 but i spent half that on a B.C. Rich that sounded just as good.

@KilluhSoda I have. I much prefer most other guitars in the same price range, with the sole exception of Fenders (I hate anything with single coil pickups and under 22 frets).

In my experience, the BC Rich "Budget" models don't have as good of sustain or pickups as they could, and the tone is somewhat iffy (even for metal). Not a big fan of anything below $1000.
