No, I respect soldiers from every walk of life.
On both sides of every conflict.
While I don't support the governments decisions in the last 2 wars (and others), I will never stop my support for the brave men, and women who choose to put their lives on the line for their brothers/sisters. However certain soldiers like Bradly Manning have been wrongly incarcerated by the government for the patriotic act of exposing war crimes, this is something I despise.

@Antix18 Okay, the T-34, or IS series are not American Technology, Russia had better WW2 pilots, better WW2 tanks that didn't blow up into flames when they got shot... The Russians pushed the Germans back to berlin faster then americans did, and the Russians had more land to clear. The reason why Russia lost so much, was because they were relentless with their attacks. While Americans were predictable, which is why it took them longer, they did everything by the clock.

Seeing all these comments, i can`t help saing this. A few days ago i saw a documentary it had about 20min, can`t call it a documentary but still, it was interesting. In one interview an ex russian soldier wich was deployed in cecenia told the reporter something like this. I don`t quote but it was like this, the russian army doesn`t give them anything,just basic equipament,no food, the russian soldier drinks a lot of votka and takes drugs, and beacause of this, commits suicide, not all of them.
