Im not sure if that clarifies. One pallet to a customer from utah USA to England UK at 1080 pounds cost 5500 USD to ship. So over 5 dollars a pound. That is just for the shipping. So if we were shipping these carp to them for food it would end up really expensive.

Shipping them to asia via a fishing vessel would be slow and extremely expensive also. I think they are mostly eaten as a budget food and so sending them from the US to where people want them would not be worth it. There is a guy here in utah that is being payed to take 5 million pounds a year out of Utah Lake by the government...

It's the water that makes the fish not worthy to eat, not the species itself. We ate carp all the time when I was younger. But the waters were clean then. Carp is really good food believe it or not.
