Hahaha what a cool idea! XD quite brilliant really, so keen to try this myself and it gave me ideas for experimenting with mine. Haha thanks for the vid, legend!
No this wont affect the pedal. All it is doing is using the low noise comin out of the pedal as a trigger for the MIDI tracking. Essentailly the same as hooking up a quarter inch cable to the input and putting your finger on it to create a hum. Try it out.
In a sad case of irony, my pedal seems busted... the light stopped working and although it will occasionally work, it dies out eventually. Hopefully I can get a replacement soon... I was looking forward to using it.
That was my first reaction... I immediately tested it with like 3 other batteries including ones from other pedals that were working. I never hear of these things being busted like that... i guess i just got a bad one.
I just tried this with my flanger and wow, its crazy. For maximum damage use a sustain pedal and distortion. Turn it up to max and watch all your neighbours file complaints!
This sound is eating my brain...I don't know if this was intentional, but I am having alien abduction flashbacks...only I was never abducted....or was I?

why do you put two cables on it???
rockway9637 1 year ago
@rockway9637 One is for the "dry signal" output, going into the synth "input" -> feedback. The other is the "synth sound" output -> to the amp.

This vid was a turning point for me- I loooove self triggering synths!
Take a look at my vids "hexameric chimerae 6" and 7 for extended pedal chains running off this generator
hawklord2112 2 years ago
I saw this a long time ago and couldn't get mine to trigger itself...I was gonna try to do this and see if I couldn't trigger it with a snare.
Is there anything special I need to do to get it to feed back like that?

the "dry" output Level must be full clockwise.
