I hate to burst your bubble, but she was NOT told to stop talking too much....that is flat out false. She made that comment because her husband, Stuart Townsend, is Irish and because of French player Thierry Henry's handball (that was not called) during their World Cup qualifying match, Ireland was kept out of the World Cup. Thus, she is not a big fan of the French team.

I too noticed she was more serious at the end, but I don't really see it that way, It's the same thing when they are acting, a director tells them what to do and how to do it, how a speak and how to move... I think her being funny and chatty was OK for the first part of the draw, but when it grew in tension, it was necessary to be more serious, after all this was serious stuff, it wasn't frivolous oscars! and you said it in the vid, after the draw was complete, she was happy again!
