@Ninjablade37Ps3 Sorry but your wrong there far faster then 65 in those straights. Top speed hit on the course was 112. The straight sections of river where the boat begins to chime walk a bit the boat is begining to fly at 65 MPH he wouldn't be chime walking a tunnel hull.

@Ninjablade37Ps3 The camera is very deceving sometimes it does look like there not going to fast at all until you've seen them going by you in an instant. I also asked the driver what his speeds were during the race since most carry GPS plotters.

@Ninjablade37Ps3 Hey I'm glade you liked it. If you want to see a boat that is pretty close to twice as fast look up Turbine powered jet boat riggins idaho. That boat has a helicopter engine out of a bell helicopter and has 1485 horses pushing up and down river. The speed is completely crazy.

That's because the cameras are incased in a housing and the engine sounds are pretty much dampered. I can ulock the rear housing and let in a little more engine sound but I run the risk of damaging the cameras since the now wouldn't be watrproof. I'll give it a go though.

The usually memorize the course after years of racing the same ones over and over. If you hit a rock hard enough your going to sink and the boat is off to the crusher.

Well they only race during one weekend so you stll have 364 days to enjoy it.! After all it is a public river and if you just put it in a glass jar and store it on the shelf who the hell can enjoy it? That's the problem with people (ECO FRIENDLY) if they don't care for it than they want to push everyone else off of it and keep it to themselves. Sounds pretty lame to me.

all boats (normal ones) ive seen are on the right but i guess its a race boat so rules are different.

I was told it has to do with the tourque of the motors and the way the engines pulls when it's under power. Makes sense since the motor in your car or truck will pull to the right when you hit the accrelator on it. As for driving though It's no different than driving a car. I think Eagle is the only manufacture that makes a boat hull with the wheel on the left. I could be wrong though.
