I think the mistake everyone makes when playing against other people online is that everyone is exactly the same as them. The problem is, this guy might have been 6 years old (having a go on his Brother's game while he's not looking or something), or possibly mentally challenged. And while you are perfectly within your right to be pissed off (I certainly would've been, and am when this happens to me), just try to remember that not everyone thinks in the same way. ;)

Well this seems to be what happened. You were flying the chopper and landed on your base to repair it. Then an enemy UAV fires a missle at the chopper and your gunner, hearing the warning siren, took off trying to save the chopper but crashed. You thought he wanted to be the pilot but there is the possibility that he wanted to keep the chopper from harm although he didn't do it well.

Yeah, I learned my lesson after hours of flying blackhawks in Isla Innocentes. Always go to a base previously captured if you know you are going to repair it. But if you arent an engineer then just land in your base and hope someone on your team has more brains than an 8 year old. Ive had up to 3 engis jump into a blackhawk with 20 health left after roadkilling 5 sniper and all they did was shoot the guns trying to make me take off, one even got out and shot the thing with an RPG...
if ur in a Mi-24 Hind (NOT the Mi-28 Havoc) or the UH-60 Black Hawk, you can level out the heli, and repair it in the passenger seat that lets you move around. The helicopter must be level, meaning it should just hover.
He deserved that tracer in his head. that happened to me once in hardcore squad deathmatch and i sniped him from across the big desert map i forget what its called i think atacama desert or something.
Untill i figured out how to fly decently i used to just steal the enemy helicopters and fly them back to my base and leave them for someone who knew how ...figured it was better than just doing a backflip and dying.
This happened to me, and what really pissed me off was that I had jacked it (I was attack), then it stopped spawning, since we blew up the obj. So when I repair, I go to the Attacker's Deployment, or at least pretty far off. The guy ditched me there. :( What sucks even worse is that I NEVER crash without being pushed by an AA Gun or just being glitched in general. That guy lasted about 45 seconds, and didn't take out a single tank.

(Seriously though, just make a private Onslaught match and fly around for an hour. I'm not 'the best' pilot, but I can stay in the air for quite a while with an enemy team full of angry engineers thanks to Onslaught...)
@pjano11 There is a period of about 30-60 seconds in the cut of him flying around uselessly before coming back and smacking into the mountain. My RPG had nothing to do with his crash... I wish it did...

I hate people like this. I think that DICE should give heli pilots a 'lock cockpit' option that will, upon them leaving, allow no one else to get in to the cockpit for 20 seconds. Pilots can use this ability once every minute (to prevent abuse). This will keep idiots from stealing the chopper while it's undergoing repairs, and will keep people from pissing their team off (by locking a cockpit over and over, making the heli unusable).
i noticed he actually SAVED the chopper you can see a helifire nearly hit it after the noob takes off

dude ure not the only one, i where repairing my black ahwk at an totaly random spot, then this n00b on my team comes whit an Humvee, chrawses in to teh black hawk then flies away, 10 seconds later he gets pwnt by a sniper. LOL ends up taking the humvee, then the match ends -.-

Yeah, I learned my lesson after hours of flying blackhawks in Isla Innocentes. Always go to a base previously captured if you know you are going to repair it. But if you arent an engineer then just land in your base and hope someone on your team has more brains than an 8 year old. Ive had up to 3 engis jump into a blackhawk with 20 health left after roadkilling 5 sniper and all they did was shoot the guns trying to make me take off, one even got out and shot the thing with an RPG...

if ur in a Mi-24 Hind (NOT the Mi-28 Havoc) or the UH-60 Black Hawk, you can level out the heli, and repair it in the passenger seat that lets you move around. The helicopter must be level, meaning it should just hover.

Untill i figured out how to fly decently i used to just steal the enemy helicopters and fly them back to my base and leave them for someone who knew how ...figured it was better than just doing a backflip and dying.

This happened to me, and what really pissed me off was that I had jacked it (I was attack), then it stopped spawning, since we blew up the obj. So when I repair, I go to the Attacker's Deployment, or at least pretty far off. The guy ditched me there. :( What sucks even worse is that I NEVER crash without being pushed by an AA Gun or just being glitched in general. That guy lasted about 45 seconds, and didn't take out a single tank.

I hate people like this. I think that DICE should give heli pilots a 'lock cockpit' option that will, upon them leaving, allow no one else to get in to the cockpit for 20 seconds. Pilots can use this ability once every minute (to prevent abuse). This will keep idiots from stealing the chopper while it's undergoing repairs, and will keep people from pissing their team off (by locking a cockpit over and over, making the heli unusable).
