yeah, so long as they are in .dpg format. you need a program like BatchDPG to convert them. i'd make a new vid to show you, but my ds is broken.

i was hoping you can help me. i have games n music and i downloaded this. but i cant get it to work. first off, when you have to select the language after you put the app on your ds, no languages come up. and when i try to run it, it says "application halted."

lol your DS hinge is broken. the top screen just falls when your fingers stop supporting it. The same thing KILLED my white DSlite and is why I now have a cobalt/black DSlite.

lol i know how funny is that :D i actually had to cut out the hinge with a knife to prevent the top screen from falling off. I've broken 3 white ds lites in this way!:D:D:D:D:D

Tip: If you want to get Moonshell 2 to work as the original middle button on the main screen of your DS, rename moonshl2.nds to _DS_MSHL.nds

Do not rename moonshl2 folder.

first thing you have to do is make sure that all the folders that were also in the package you downloaded are on the root of your card.

Did it run ok the first time? If yes, Delete your moonshell 2 save file and try to run the program again. If you did not rename the moonshell file it should be moonshl2.sav

Then try to run the program again. Good luck.

it loads homebrew just fine but it wont with games :(

yeah it's not supposed to be able to load commercial games :D just use your regular firmware loader or ysmenu if you can.

What do you mean by firmware version? I just bought my DS and R4 in January. I guess it should be the lates. I've been to many sites that offer guides on how to set up moonshell and change the themes. I follow the instructions carefully but doesn't seem to work. Of all the videos i've seen about moonshell i think your video with the latest moonshell 2 Beta 5 is the best. I can't find any online guides on installing this version of moonshell. Thanks in advance for offering some help.

i mean your r4 firmware version. when you turn on your ds and the r4 menu starts up, the firmware version should be written in the bottom right corner of the bottom screen.

Impressive, I just got my DS Lite. Have tried to install Moonshell2 Beta 5 but seem to be having problems. I'm using an R4DS. Do you think you can make a video on how to install this version of moonshell and how to make other applications work as well like the mp3 player, watch movies, read ebooks as well as play games?

oh that's really easy. just rename moonshell2.nds to _DS_MSHL.NDS

try deleting all of your moonshell files and then try downloading them all again and putting them back on your sd card
