@pjt614 I think it was a time limit thing....you can see he is he keeps looking off to the side of the stage like someone is trying to hurry him up.....
@pjt614 watching it again,I wonder if he feels the people at the Tonight Show ( johnny carson) excluded ) are treating him different? I mean he used to Host and now they are probably not treating JD with the same respect?
No one else walked up to the stage. The Baylor crowd at that time was ultra conservative. I was still in jr high and looked like I belonged in elementary school. I would have been labeled a pest at best. My family would have had a heart attack if they knew I was not in bed fast asleep.
Thanks for posting this. I never heard this one before. I do not know how I missed it. I've been a fan ever since I attended a concert held in Waco Tx at Baylor University just about the time Country Roads made it big. He honored his commitment even though he could have made more money elsewhere. I walked up to the stage after it was over. He was tired and I was too shy to say a word. I just smiled and watched them pack up and leave. This was in the early 70's.
Very nice video Michael! I don't have a recording of this song, but I really like it a lot. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for your comment and for sharing your memory of nearly meeting JD so long ago.
This song was on his 'One World' album.

Thanks for your comment. It is also one of mine - and isn't it sad that it is so rarely heard?
