@originalchoise. I think her dancing and lines are still a bit amateurish. Hopefully with time and proper training her technique and artistry will improve. It could also be that being filmed contributed to nerves or something. Anyway, I wish her the best of luck.

@xiheartzacefron94x thats cool:) ive never tried capezio's but i know alot of girls who have them. I've gone through 2 diff styles of shoes, bloch balanced european, and grishkos miracles

blochs were great beginner shoes, and i love my grishkos now:D

I have 3 pairs of them! haha and i go through shoes slowly too, i wear them untill they are REALLY soft:)

I have to say that the Joffrey Ballet has 4.5 black ballet dancers, and none of them are crayons but rather part of what I hope will someday be the natural spectrum seen in all ballet companies. Ballet has not always been open for or accepting of blacks in this country. I know since I was shamed and poorly treated in my own ballet class in 1976. At that time, I never saw anyone of color in ballet in Massachusetts.
