I've had my fair share of serious DMT and mushroom trips but datura is something I don't think I'll ever try. The stuff seems far too dangerous. From what I hear it's like your dreaming while your still awake. There's the potential to do shit like wander out into the middle of the road and get knocked down by a car while you were just thinking you were walking downstairs to the kitchen for a drink.
I had a pretty bad experience with nutmeg earlier this year with similar results, I was extremely dehydrated and within about five seconds of guzzling water, my mouth would dry up completely. The only psychoactive results I achieved were minor closed-eye visuals accompanied by major confusion, I hate delirium.

I have n interest in eating them, i just like the plant; However, after smelling the pod and just touching the seeds I got dizzy and my hands and fingers would go numb. My heartbeat increased. I was holding cconversations with the couch, the fireplace, walls, doors, ppl that weren't there and didn't know i was hallucinating. Everything seemed like it was reality. I guess i am lucky it wasn't nightmarish for me.
I tried Datura in North Queensland about 19 years ago, I chewed about 2 or 3 leaves of the white flower part, and it tasted pretty foul and I was waiting for something to happen and then I was plunged deep into it without realising it had even begun, a hallucinating nightmare that lasted about ten hours, and I remember thinking sometime during this nightmare that this trip was so horrible, and I was trapped in it, and that it was never going to end.
The age, location and condition of the Datura plant will have an effect on the potency, the older the plant, the healthier it is and the climate will have a BIG effect on the active chemical...it's a very dangerous drug to administer safely...this stuff is not for the dabbler or someone looking for a party drug.

CONTAC capsules had belladonna alkaloids. DONNAGEL was a mixture of belladonna alkaloids and kaopectate. DONNATAL is belladonna with phenobarbital. Not recommended.

@Wolvve I personally wouldn't, morning glory is relatively safe but long term use of it and frequent use can lead to vein constriction and you can lose blood flow to your veins. You could use it weekly for a little while but to be safe not for months on end. I personally don't do it often just because I can't stomach it unlike other things like mushrooms.

I couldn't tell where I was when i did it. One minute I'm in the mall, then in school, then in my bedroom, then in a hotel, yet the whole time i was sitting in a field. Everybody kept disappearing into phantoms. I was going crazy because i could find hardly anything real. The hallucinations were INSANE!!!! The come down lasted 3 days. I did it 5 times and will never do it again!!

This alkaloid has been known to cause permanent blindness in low doses and death in high doses. My brother took it once and was INSANE for two weeks. It nearly killed him. I consider myself fairly well experienced with substances and would never even consider taking this. Death is not worth it. Stick with psychedelics, they are non toxic and non addictive.

Have you ever tried Salvia Divinorum? I've never tried anything else but I hear most entheogens are quite similar. Such as DMT and Salvinorum A. I've been searching for a new enlightening entheogen. Any recommendations?.
@ChinaCatSunflower23 LSD I would probably start on if i was you. It is the most researched substance to this date. I started my psychedelic journey with marijuana and then finally LSD. LSD has never caused any deaths or ever been overdosed on regardless of the insane amounts the hippies took in the 60's. Have a read about it and other substances on erowid. Overall though, psychedelics are non toxic and totally non addictive. Except for ketamine.

The chances of another chemical contaminating a blotter is pretty much non existant. Besides if there is another chemical or mimic on the blotter there would be such a miniscule amount contained on it that it wont be dangerous. My advice would be to find a source that you can trust.

scary stuff, i overdosed on it when i was 17, 30 years old now. still feel the effects, it added itself to a really bad anxiety problem that lasted about a decade culminating and just a horrible life. got rid of that stuff (thankfully) a few years ago. but, I still feel odd, even though it 7 years for me to be able to feel comfortable sleeping with the lights off.The trip wasn't the worst part really, its the nightmares that came for months and years after,and odd pressures and pains in my brain

never took datura, but have taken 400mg of Diphenhydramine, a legal delerient found in benadryl and sleep aid.
That had some of the effects you described, but no closed eye visuals, just open eyed, with hallucinations such as translucent beetles crawling all over, people poking their head out of my tv, etc.
dry mouth, sore limbs, unbelievable exhaustion, plus the added effect of not being able to hold a conversation, made that trip very shitty.(took dxm, try an make it better, still shitty)

From what I hear it's like your dreaming while your still awake. I almost tried datura in highschool. I don't really feel like I dodged a bullet per say, but I'm glad I didn't do it. After hearing about people's mostly negative experiences, it baffles me how eager some are to choose jimson weed over something like mushrooms or dmt, which aren't even difficult to obtain on your own.

I tried Datura in North Queensland about 19 years ago, I chewed about 2 or 3 leaves of the white flower part, and it tasted pretty foul and I was waiting for something to happen and then I was plunged deep into it without realising it had even begun, a hallucinating nightmare that lasted about ten hours, and I remember thinking sometime during this nightmare that this trip was so horrible, and I was trapped in it, and that it was never going to end.

I have used Atropa belladonna and Datura strammonium for the past 40 years medicinally. The old SOMINEX tablets in 1970 contained Scopolamine hydrobromide at 250 mcg per tablet. CONTAC capsules had belladonna alkaloids. DONNAGEL was a mixture of belladonna alkaloids and kaopectate. DONNATAL is belladonna with phenobarbital. Not recommended.

You could use it weekly for a little while but to be safe not for months on end. I personally don't do it often just because I can't stomach it unlike other things like mushrooms.

For anyone thinking about taking datura. DO NOT DO THIS SHIT!!! Do your research... Datura contains an alkaloid called scopolamin. This alkaloid has been known to cause permanent blindness in low doses and death in high doses. My brother took it once and was INSANE for two weeks. It nearly killed him. I consider myself fairly well experienced with substances and would never even consider taking this. Death is not worth it. Stick with psychedelics, they are non toxic and non addictive.

That's why I agree with you, they should all be legal. We can't have other people making these decisions as to what we can and cannot get in trouble for using, because in the end they all have consequences and benefits that we all have the right to choose for ourselves. Have you ever tried Salvia Divinorum? I've never tried anything else but I hear most entheogens are quite similar. Such as DMT and Salvinorum A. I've been searching for a new enlightening entheogen. Any recommendations?.

@ChinaCatSunflower23 LSD I would probably start on if i was you. It is the most researched substance to this date. I started my psychedelic journey with marijuana and then finally LSD. LSD has never caused any deaths or ever been overdosed on regardless of the insane amounts the hippies took in the 60's. Have a read about it and other substances on erowid. Overall though, psychedelics are non toxic and totally non addictive. Except for ketamine.

@bloodofhate Thanks much. My only concern with LSD is mimics such as DOI, STP and dangerous chemicals sold as LSD on blotter paper. Have you ever experienced any mimics or have advice to avoid them?

@ChinaCatSunflower23 Your welcome. Nah, I've never experienced mimics. The thing with LSD blotter is that LSD is active in the low microgram dosage. The chances of another chemical contaminating a blotter is pretty much non existant. Besides if there is another chemical or mimic on the blotter there would be such a miniscule amount contained on it that it wont be dangerous. My advice would be to find a source that you can trust.

its made for people who want to tap into their memory and past experiences. your use of it was uneducated and pointless ignorance. if you wanna find out the potency of the plant youve got you start low. first day 2-5 seeds, and you see what is up.and perhaps decide to do extractions and do the same experiment with this product, starting low and going up. it may also be used as a sleeppill or dream intensifier.
