SPriest proven cant outDPS mage at single target. Man ur crit is based on Boss specific fight. There is nothing actually that special in his crits/outputs.

At first boss he showed normal geared Fire mage can get up to 50k crit. so...

he's frostfire and that is the newb spec for mages im arcane and with 570haste 20%crit hit capped with 2350 spell power and do 6000dps he's probly doing 2500-4000dps ttw/fire mages 19/52/0 do 8-12k dps.

Hes Frostfire spec, and if he was fireball with his gear he could and should be out dpsing everyone in that raid, and restomage you should be firing off ur pyroblast procs right after a bolt or proc you will get more damage and dps.

Mages are Fuckgin hella burst dmg, like in arc spec on illicdan at lvl 80 i crit a 20k with stuff procked. Now immagion that FULLY raid buffed and geared, 21k+? ok, Mages are slow on facting but make up for it with instant casts Like free pyros evey 2 crits Um fire for me with 314 haste is 2.5 2.6 sec cast and arc is 1.92-2.09 So depends on the spec, Also remember this. Depends what you like. I have three 80's and I all use them for different applications. My Rogue is strictly for PVP which I like, my Mage for Raiding, and my Druid which is Resto spec for when I'm bored. Before Wrath I only played my rogue because I was into PVP, now that I don't play the game as much as I used to, I play my mage to log on for raid.

Depends what you spec in, Im arcane/frost and I do fine...but you need a few mana breaks regardless of your spec.

Not even slightly. Mana regen is all about knowing your class and spec, like people say arcane has terrible mana problems, but I was just in a 21 Kel fight in NAxx25 (Yes, 21 mins. WTB good DPS) and I didnt go oom once.

Thaddius makes it so you do 120 percent more damage. that is why he is critting 20k. i've seen 30k FFB crits on thaddius
