Just pointing out that most dairy farmers ARE NOT like this. We treat our animals with the respect and love we treat everyone else with (I personally treat mine better than some people I know, simply because they've never done anything to me.) But this gives dairy a bad rap. I'm for animal WELFARE not rights. They're not humans, people.
@celticfarmgirl And the rights that are sought for them are not "human rights". No one wants them to vote, drive, buy a car or go to college -but the right to live their lives without being "used" as a commodity.
They have interests in continuing their existence. They are aware. They can suffer. If we don't have to harm them - And I suggest and KNOW we don't - Then doing so violates and frustrates every one of their wants for absolutely NO necessity!
@beaelliott I never suggested that they aren't aware or that they can't suffer. I don't think animal abuse is right, and I'm a strong advocate against it. And the second part of your comment is hard to comprehend, but what I think you're trying to say is that they should be free to roam around... which anyone with common sense should see that that's just a bad idea.
@celticfarmgirl The whole idea of "using" another life for one's own end is wrong. It is "abusive" to deny a being their natural instincts. All of animal agriculture frustrates animal desires. Down to the point of taking the last of their lives away when they are no longer "useful".
I think we ought to stop thinking of sentient beings as commodities. We ought to stop enslaving them to our desires. We ought to stop making more so that we don't have to worry about how to care for them.
@kerwin762mm Well here's a logical approach to it, to figure out whether animal slaughter is right or wrong u must ask yourself firstly are the lives of animals in factory farms better or worse than there natural life, if it is worse then it is unjustifiable as ppl are making their life worse than it would be naturally which it certainly seems to be.
Unless human benefit cancels out their suffering but do you really believe people's want for an extra option to eat comes before their whole life?

I'm not going to change my diet just because some farmer in Kentucky is an asshole. Killing is killing, and just because a carrot doesnt scream when you cut it up doesnt mean youre not killing it just the same. If we die, the plants and animals will eat us, and I bet they wont be pussies about it either. You wont hear any of them looking for alternative food choices. I disagree with animal cruelty, but saying we have to stop eating meat to save animals is fucking delusional.

@kerwin762mm Killing is killing? So a Hitler is the same as someone who accidentally takes life in an auto accident? It's not "just the same".If it were every time my husband cut the grass or did the hedging we'd have all the neighbors up in arms against it!
And just because lions, bears, alligators and hawks kill for nourishment-doesn't mean we have to.Meat, eggs and dairy are not necessary in order to thrive.Indeed more evidence shows a plant based diet is better for health and the environment.
@beaelliott Per your example, that would be comparing the killing of animals to accidently stepping on a plant. I compared harvesting plants deliberately like we do livestock. I was talking about the fact that people are saying I should stop eating meat to save the lives of animals, and that I consider living things to be living things, plants included. Living things have to eat other living things in order to survive, there's no getting around it.
@kerwin762mm No... You are the one who insists all killing is the same. I say it's different. Animals aren't "things".. "Killing" something that has no consciousness or sentience for survival isn't the same as killing a self-aware being for "want". Gratuitous killing predicates a might makes right philosophy and doesn't foster an enlightened, progressive or kind culture.
@beaelliott Ultimately, here's the problem I see with it. Assuming that everyone in America became vegetarians and refused to eat any kind of meat, the results would be catastrophic. What do you think would happen to all of those animals once there was no use for them? Their numbers would be considered overpopulated, and they would be massacred. No one is going to foot the bill to feed and house all of them if there is no profit to be made from it.
@kerwin762mm But of course this will NOT happen over night. The advancement towards a plant based diet will happen as all social change does - Gradually over time. There will in the future (as is now happening) less meat consumption in the advanced countries and therefore less "production and marketing". I assure you there will not be a cow, pig or chicken "over population" problem as ranchers will just stop breeding them once it's no longer productive to do so.
@beaelliott Second, the toll on the economy would be horrible. Think of all the jobs that would be lost. Think of the business' that would have to comletely shut down and attempt to sell useless equipment in order to change over to raising crops, probably closing their doors forever and going bankrupt. The price of produce would skyrocket, too much demand and not enough supply.
@kerwin762mm People will still have to eat... I eat! They shift will be towards sustainable plant based alternative nourishment. Actually, the economy would really get a shot in the arm developing new technologies and manufacturing different equipment. As it is now-70% of corn and 85% of soy are being grown to fatten animals. There's more than enough land and resources if it was utilized properly. The price of produce and grain would decline as humans would not be competing with livestock for food.
@beaelliott Lastly, lets assume that the animals were all set free and PETA got the best of both worlds. The end of animal cruelty in the meat industry and no more animals were killed. How could any of these animals survive on their own? Its a sad reality that this is their life, however its the only life they have ever known. Now you have how many seep pigs and cattle free roaming the country. A deer will total a vehicle, imagine what a cow will do.
@kerwin762mm Again... This will happen gradually and artificial insemination of these animals will decline and diminish. Those that still exist might go to sanctuaries - Plenty of those opening everywhere. Oh... I'd also want to stop breeding deer too-We have over 1500 deer "farms" in the US.Those auto accidents are horrible-Such a shame we're actually making more deer while claiming "over population" at the same time!
There is no "reality" that this is their fate - Except that we make it so.
@beaelliott What happens when you have these animals living in your backyard? Hogs have giant razor sharp tusks, and they can be extremely violent (thats half the reason the testes are removed from piglets at birth, aside from making the meat taste better). They would deficate wherever they felt the urge, and thats going to cause the spread of disease. And with no veterinarian looking after them, poor health and competition for food will cause them to suffer more than they are now.
@kerwin762mm When the "demand" goes down - so will the supply. There's also great possibilities in "controlling" wildlife through contraceptives... You know - Birth control added to baited food. It's not as gloom and doom as you'd like it to be. If you really are concerned with their suffering the most positive thing you can do is to leave their bodies off your plate. ;)
@kerwin762mm And this is exactly why the taxpayer has begun to see the misdirection of their money. Corporate greed and government corruption can't/won't last forever. Either it will destroy itself or there will be nothing for private citizens left to lose.
The time to speak up and out against injustice is now... Certainly advocating for the most victimized creatures is a great place to start!
@beaelliott So with all that being said, I agree that the way these animals were treated is horrible and should be stopped. However, not every meat processing plant treats their animals this way. I don't believe that abstaining from meat is the answer at all, and would cause a far worse outcome than what happens already. Its simple logic, and my statement remains valid.
@kerwin762mm There is no such thing as a "kind" slaughter or a "compassionate killing"-All these beings wish to live. They fight for that life just like you or I would. We must take it by force and violence. It promotes a might makes right agenda-Very bad for building a peaceful world.
You can fight oppression best by what you choose to put on your fork. The power to do better, rather than worse, is within our ability. That is "simple logic". We each create the change we want to see in the world.
@beaelliott As much as I hate to say it, nothing is ever that simple. I think the outcome will be far worse than we give credit to, even in the most perfect situation we come up with.
@kerwin762mm Not saying anything is perfect... But don't let perfect be the enemy of the good. We can all try harder - We can all do what is within our sphere of action. Never underestimate the power of one multiplied by billions.
Surly we'd have a better world if everyone stopped looking around at the things they can't do - or can't chance and just focused on the ones we can! ~peace~
@kerwin762mm I disagree. Killing is not the same for everything. Killing a human is different from killing animals. Animals are different to killing vegetables (like the carrots you mentioned). Its a sliding scale in my opinion and I've come to the conclusion that because we no longer needs animals to survive we should minimize cruelty to them and stop eating and wearing them. At least go veg a few days a week if you can't give up your meat addiction.
world we live in is fucked up. people are so ignorant they wont admit theyre wrong even if its crstsl clear as fuckin day theyre wrong its not even the world its the people in it that make this a terrible place to live
How many millions of acres of wildlife habit have been destroyed to make way for farms to raise fruits and vegetables? How many insects, bugs, birds and other wildlife have been killed or displaced to protect these farms? Don't be fooled by these vegans who are " TRying to stop animal cruelty" The life style that they are promoting has destroyed the habitat of millions and millions of animals they swear to protect.
@@airva21901 @@THEWINTERWATERSONG Woooo there, Neither of you should be condoning murder we're better than that as people .... . Although, Hell, i could join you both :)
Vegetarians need to quit coming up with the scarcest excuses. Not once in my life have I witnessed any sort of livestock treated this way. I live in Wisconsin! I see a cow just about every day! They are given wide open fields to graze on. This video represents less than 0.1% of America's dairy farms. Yes, I agree that these people are sick and twisted, but I actually realize that this rarely happens. Around here livestock are like pets. Even if the cow is raised for it's meat it is treated well.
@airva21901 Slow down there tiger. Bad Karma will come to you just THINKING about killing someone....but what the heck, I'll go grab my shotgun!! I'm with you.
Do you really care for the animals? Then search for Equal Money on google and join the community. Come onto the Desteni website. Push yourself to realize that human beings CAN CHANGE - we DO NOT need to exist as self-interested, abusive things - this needs to be understood - let's change the system and change human nature!
when i get a farm i wanna get my own dairy cow, i love milk and meat so i wont stop eating it because some are abused, i cant stop that. but i love cows, having a dairy cow would rock.
this is so sad... I used to eat meat and cheese until I found these videos 2 weeks ago... I cried a lot... and I can't sleep... I can't stand this anymore, it's so painful :(
@chopinesprit take a fucking zanex calm the fuck down and listen. ok if peta saw the cow being mistreated then why did they do anything on site. they are willing to burn house down and injure people but just keep letting the cow get hurt an tortured.

@blomstersenter who the hell allowed you to have a dog. You abuse it because you know the dog loves you even though you abuse it that's because it's loyal uncompared to you and this also @thebroobchoob I'm not a bad person but u 2 make me sick and I hope u and all of those animal abusers rot in hell
@thefroobchoob so your saying who gives a fuck about a cow bitch I'd like to see YOU WITHOUT ANY FOOD IR DRINKS WITH BROKEN LEGS AND GETTING BEAT UP AND THEN ID BE THE ONE SAYING WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT HIM/HER. BITCH YOU PROBABLY HAVE A ROCK INSTEAD OF A HEART.

thefroobchoob what kinda name and if u dont know what a scene iz how bout u look it up on google and their living things =v_v= sad their living things why iz the world like this uggggg we werent born to eat animals any way just natural food u dont belive me
next time u see a cow or any animal see if u can tear through it with ur teeth and if u do ur not a human NAH i just proved point GO VEGAN
You are avoiding the question check mate. Animals are given to us by God to do whatever we want with. When I have had a bad day at work do I take it out on my dog. Its a great stress reliver.
@gothicslytherinchic My dog is terrified of me. It starts to shake immediately when I take my stick to hit him. The strange thing is that I sit in my chair commanding him to come and then hit him. He comes everytime even though he knows I am going to hit him. But all in all I am nice to the dog. I always comfort the dog after beating it. I also donate money to animal rescue service.
@blomstersenter This is nothing but shock value. He's trying to get a reaction out of people by pushing their buttons. He's probably one of those people who will always be a virgin because people find him to be so repugnant. He's a loser with nothing to offer anyone. Ignore him, and he will slither away.
@blomstersenter got what it deserved? behaved like the other cows? what the fuck is your problem? the cow could not move at all and you just sit on your fat ass saying the cow deserved it? you're a bitch i mean c'mon i'm sorry to all the vegans here but i eat cow, but that doesn't mean i'm gonna troll and say that cow deserved it because it didn't
I really believe in Karma and the only thing that gives me happiness after seeing these barbaric videos of low, desensitised and sick people treating poor defenceless animals with the utmost cruelty is that one day they will meet a fate far greater and when that day comes the souls of all the abused animals killed by their bloody hands will rest in peace. Remember Karma does not have to affect you directly but can also affect those you really love and thus if they suffer, you suffer too
This is just fucking cruel and disgusting!!!!!!!!! Whoever did that to that poor cow needs to go to prison for the rest of their life, or better yet they should do that to the person that did that to the cow and see how they like it!
Very powerful video. I could only look at parts of it and have been vegan for a long time...I've seen it all. This is all too much to cope with. People have an awful lot to pay for. I doubt they'll be smirking and making wisecracks when their time comes.
These cows need to shut up and make me more goddamn milk. If they aren't doing their job, they deserve a pitchfork handle in the rectum.

@kerwin762mm Well here's a logical approach to it, to figure out whether animal slaughter is right or wrong u must ask yourself firstly are the lives of animals in factory farms better or worse than there natural life, if it is worse then it is unjustifiable as ppl are making their life worse than it would be naturally which it certainly seems to be.

And just because lions, bears, alligators and hawks kill for nourishment-doesn't mean we have to.Meat, eggs and dairy are not necessary in order to thrive.Indeed more evidence shows a plant based diet is better for health and the environment.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott Per your example, that would be comparing the killing of animals to accidently stepping on a plant. I compared harvesting plants deliberately like we do livestock. I was talking about the fact that people are saying I should stop eating meat to save the lives of animals, and that I consider living things to be living things, plants included. Living things have to eat other living things in order to survive, there's no getting around it.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm No... You are the one who insists all killing is the same. I say it's different. Animals aren't "things".. "Killing" something that has no consciousness or sentience for survival isn't the same as killing a self-aware being for "want". Gratuitous killing predicates a might makes right philosophy and doesn't foster an enlightened, progressive or kind culture.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott Ultimately, here's the problem I see with it. Assuming that everyone in America became vegetarians and refused to eat any kind of meat, the results would be catastrophic. What do you think would happen to all of those animals once there was no use for them? Their numbers would be considered overpopulated, and they would be massacred. No one is going to foot the bill to feed and house all of them if there is no profit to be made from it.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm But of course this will NOT happen over night. The advancement towards a plant based diet will happen as all social change does - Gradually over time. There will in the future (as is now happening) less meat consumption in the advanced countries and therefore less "production and marketing". I assure you there will not be a cow, pig or chicken "over population" problem as ranchers will just stop breeding them once it's no longer productive to do so.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott Second, the toll on the economy would be horrible. Think of all the jobs that would be lost. Think of the business' that would have to comletely shut down and attempt to sell useless equipment in order to change over to raising crops, probably closing their doors forever and going bankrupt. The price of produce would skyrocket, too much demand and not enough supply.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm People will still have to eat... I eat! They shift will be towards sustainable plant based alternative nourishment. Actually, the economy would really get a shot in the arm developing new technologies and manufacturing different equipment. As it is now-70% of corn and 85% of soy are being grown to fatten animals. There's more than enough land and resources if it was utilized properly. The price of produce and grain would decline as humans would not be competing with livestock for food.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott Lastly, lets assume that the animals were all set free and PETA got the best of both worlds. The end of animal cruelty in the meat industry and no more animals were killed. How could any of these animals survive on their own? Its a sad reality that this is their life, however its the only life they have ever known. Now you have how many seep pigs and cattle free roaming the country. A deer will total a vehicle, imagine what a cow will do.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm Again... This will happen gradually and artificial insemination of these animals will decline and diminish. Those that still exist might go to sanctuaries - Plenty of those opening everywhere. Oh... I'd also want to stop breeding deer too-We have over 1500 deer "farms" in the US.Those auto accidents are horrible-Such a shame we're actually making more deer while claiming "over population" at the same time!
There is no "reality" that this is their fate - Except that we make it so.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm I've been saying that for years!!!! THANK YOU
celticfarmgirl 1 week ago
@beaelliott What happens when you have these animals living in your backyard? Hogs have giant razor sharp tusks, and they can be extremely violent (thats half the reason the testes are removed from piglets at birth, aside from making the meat taste better). They would deficate wherever they felt the urge, and thats going to cause the spread of disease. And with no veterinarian looking after them, poor health and competition for food will cause them to suffer more than they are now.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm When the "demand" goes down - so will the supply. There's also great possibilities in "controlling" wildlife through contraceptives... You know - Birth control added to baited food. It's not as gloom and doom as you'd like it to be. If you really are concerned with their suffering the most positive thing you can do is to leave their bodies off your plate. ;)
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott It will take alot more time, and the burden will go to the taxpayer to float this along
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm And this is exactly why the taxpayer has begun to see the misdirection of their money. Corporate greed and government corruption can't/won't last forever. Either it will destroy itself or there will be nothing for private citizens left to lose.
The time to speak up and out against injustice is now... Certainly advocating for the most victimized creatures is a great place to start!
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott So with all that being said, I agree that the way these animals were treated is horrible and should be stopped. However, not every meat processing plant treats their animals this way. I don't believe that abstaining from meat is the answer at all, and would cause a far worse outcome than what happens already. Its simple logic, and my statement remains valid.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm There is no such thing as a "kind" slaughter or a "compassionate killing"-All these beings wish to live. They fight for that life just like you or I would. We must take it by force and violence. It promotes a might makes right agenda-Very bad for building a peaceful world.
You can fight oppression best by what you choose to put on your fork. The power to do better, rather than worse, is within our ability. That is "simple logic". We each create the change we want to see in the world.
beaelliott 1 week ago
@beaelliott As much as I hate to say it, nothing is ever that simple. I think the outcome will be far worse than we give credit to, even in the most perfect situation we come up with.
kerwin762mm 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm Not saying anything is perfect... But don't let perfect be the enemy of the good. We can all try harder - We can all do what is within our sphere of action. Never underestimate the power of one multiplied by billions.
Surly we'd have a better world if everyone stopped looking around at the things they can't do - or can't chance and just focused on the ones we can! ~peace~
beaelliott 1 week ago
@kerwin762mm I disagree. Killing is not the same for everything. Killing a human is different from killing animals. Animals are different to killing vegetables (like the carrots you mentioned). Its a sliding scale in my opinion and I've come to the conclusion that because we no longer needs animals to survive we should minimize cruelty to them and stop eating and wearing them. At least go veg a few days a week if you can't give up your meat addiction.

How many insects, bugs, birds and other wildlife have been killed or displaced to protect these farms? Don't be fooled by these vegans who are " TRying to stop animal cruelty" The life style that they are promoting has destroyed the habitat of millions and millions of animals they swear to protect.

He he, that is the kind of vegan demagogy and fasicm in work.
You see, i have never understood that equation - "stop animal cruelty == not eating meat".
Funny i thought that cruelty on animals is done because improper and cruel treatment, not because their bodies are made of meat.
When I say, lets strip all the animals of their meat, it will stop the cruelty, my statement makes as much sence as "stop cruelty, dont eat meat".
You dont want to stop cruelty - you want people to obey demagogy.
