I had this and it was my most cherished accessory when i was little... i didnt use coffee tables, i set this thing on my lap and went to town. Comfort was not an issue and for its time it was a cool looking piece of tech.

But with the NES Advantage, I could!

And even nowadays, I've bought an arcade stick and Super Mario Bros 3 is way easier, for me.

Playing Megaman would be awesome with this controller. The Turbo function makes it automatically easier, thus making it a bit less frustrating to kill enemies.

This is the best controller made ever. He is right it's quality is 2nd to none and the variable rate turbo is far superior. Imagine 2 players playing track and field both have turbo controllers, you think its who ever gets the jump? not if one has one of these bad boys it will tear apart any other turbo controller because you can fine tune the turbo to the max allowed by that game whereas say the nes max had a default setting. I could let people go and blow past them. they need this again.

@RD400D78 To clear any confusion actually turning down the turbo will cause faster button execution, it's pretty much down to how fast you can make the light blink on most games. It's a huge difference.

@mastachief2 I doubt it, though if you did, it'd look cooler. Keep in mind that those things were glorified gamepads, meaning the buttons are attached to this rubber peace that connects to the circuit board of a controller instead of the way a real arcade stick works. I looks like an arcade stick (sorta, still cool), but its far from it, most are unless you hear like, a clicking (microswtiches).

Nintendo should release a new NES Advantage with a built in emulator and rom set of all the NES games. You just plug the Advantage into a video port and bam, all the NES games right there. I think people would buy that in a second; I know I would.

You could prank your friends. When they're playing, if they pause to go to the bathroom or something, unscrew the ball from the joystick so it's just sitting on top of it. When they go to play the ball will fall off and they will die on the game. Laughter ensues.

I fucking Love that Sexy Beast of a Controller. The Turbo Speed controls are Perfect for calculating the proper speed at which the bullets leave the screen in Contra. Too fast and there will be a pause in between every 3 shots. Too slow and you wont kill the enemies fast enough. Just right, and you can sit back and enjoy your Badass NES Advantage.

i own the quik shot vearshoin of this controler it all works the same mainly except a few diffrenc this controler is lighter but had suckthoin cups on it so u can just push it like a slunger n stick it to the table min has auto fire but no speed gage for it and auto fir conrols both bottons for praticality and usage i prefer the advantage tho for the light waight n rad and black colour disign and the fact tht the joy stick isnt as moveable on this virshoin i prefer quikshot
