I am confused about the battery circuit with individual chargers. Is there somewhere that has a wiring diagram?

This car features one battery charger for each battery. Each charger has its positive and negative lead permanently bolted onto the positive and negative posts of one battery.

The only problem with this setup is that there are so many batteries, that not all the battery chargers can run at the same time without blowing a 15 amp circuit. So, the chargers are plugged into several different power strips. Only one group of chargers is run at a time.

Can the car use smaller batteries? I v'e heard of someone using cordless tool batteries and laptop batteries.

@3089280288 Any kind of batteries will do the job if properly connected (series to increase total voltage, parallel to get current out of the pack) but usually smaller batteries cost much more and are so many in the pack that you will die of old age before you get every one connected (has been done, with thousend of 123 cells, to power an electric dragster...search youtube for the vids). It's not worth the hassle unless you have a pallet of free Lithium cellphone batteries that you can't sell

What do you think about doing a conversion on a Camero or a Firebird?

Would the size of the transmission be a problem?

All that work for something that does 45 MPH?? Would have been cheaper to buy a GEM or ZAP. Now picture 300v going through a Warp-11 and a Zilla 2k. Burn-Out City! Heck MY 96v EV is faster and has more range then that Neon. And I have a BACK SEAT!! LOL!!

The car is drivable, well over 50MPH (I have yet to find top end, still tuning) and has a range of over 50miles. You will beat me off the line, but I doubt if you can match the range.

Wow. I've never seen anyone put a charger on top of EVERY battery. Interesting idea to 'balance' the charge. Also interesting to discharge 'rows' of batteries as needed (if I understood that). Keep up the good work!
