i can upload the footage on this camera to image mixer 3(the program that came with it) but from there i cant get the footage onto my computer hard drive or anything so i can't edit it or upload to youtube. can anyone help?
you can't use CS3 to edit with the canon hf s100 because it does not suppot AVCHD. The best you can get for it is premire CS4. Sony vegas 8 or higher works aswell.
the lamp post is scared and it's shaking...by the way, superb shot...you can pause it at any one frame of the video and the colour and clarity will still make any compact camera proud.

lol you want bad weather the hfs100 is great especially with its loaded manual controls, shutter, aperture, and even gain in a sub 1000 dollar consumer camcoder that destroys my xl2 (pro sd cam that costs way more than the hfs100 in everything (except manual control, low light, and audio but for the price who would expect xlr inputs and other pro things on the hfs100!).
