  • Can u get more of them?

  • true

  • rofl at the end he loses both arm rests again.

  • Common courtesy would say give the person in the middle both arm rests.

  • Been there, done that. Though, usually I'm a bit more lenient if I have the window seat. If I can lean up against a wall, I'm much happier.

  • Let the guy have the two arm rests. I mean the girl has the window and the other guy has the aisle, the least they can do is give him the armrests to compensate for the usually crammed middle seats.

  • true fact.

  • Yeah, good point. At least one of them.

  • Excellent reply!!! I first thought he was rude, but your point of view definitively out weights the video. The middle seats suck the worst!!! He should have both armrests!

  • Thanks!

  • Get first/business class..that's what I got from these Delta commercials....

  • Who calls that seat middleman? It's called Bitch. Get it right.

And people who sit at Bitch are usually the ones who refuse to check in online.

  • That's so not true. I always check in online, yet I've gotten stuck with that seat a few times. Granted not often, but it has happened.

  • were these actually commercials?

  • oh that is worse. i hate those guys! they sit down an start playing the king in his throne.

  • i love at the end the song^^

  • Being the middle person is the WORST! I know it from experiece, and yeah it sucks!

  • who's being a dick? I am just saying that it really sucks to be in the middle! cause its the truth. You just have to respect the space of the ones seating next to you! geez

  • Just because you have the unfortunate luck of being stuck in the middle seat doesn't give you the permission to bo-guard the armrests.

  • hey man, I am not saying that the middleman has the right to "bo-guard" the armrests, in fact I did not do that.

  • I never said that you were a Dick, but you clearly took offense to it, as if I were just talking to you. If you don't bo-guard the armrests, go for you, then this comment was not geared towards you.

  • Pro's and cons of Window Vs. Isle

    Window Pros-Window view

    Window Cons-Can't reach overhead compartment

Isle Pros-Overhead compartment in easy access, isle in easy access

Isle Cons-Can't see out window, bumped by big people in isle.

My vote is on Isle :D

  • i don't get these videos wat is it saying good about delta

  • It's telling you to lighten up at the hectic Holidays guys. Listen to the cute jingle. And maybe it is telling the guy next to you something subtle. I think ultimately its just to laugh and relax a bit. Atleast that's what their press release said!

  • oh ok thanx

  • Good video, but they seem to have gotten the lesson wrong. The kids are in the wrong on this one.

My feeling is this: the window and aisle seats have benefits, and are chosen as a result of what's important to the passenger. The window seat has the view and controls the window shade; the aisle seat has easy access to getting in and out/up and down; and the middle seat gets squat, and as such, controls the armrests on both sides of that seat.

    Yes, apparently, I'm that guy.

  • Very good point PiFan7. I just wish I were rich, rich and could always fly first class.

  • That was the lesson I got out of it. The kid and the woman appeared angry and the poor guy look squished. So he prevailed. Delta has just cracked me up. I hope they develope this into thirty minute segments for the wait on the tarmac. Make that two hour segments. I leave January 5th to be a flight attendant for Comair who is owned by Delta so these videos make my proud I work at a place with a sense of humor!

  • I wish that these offered some advice on how to handle situations like these. i've watched a few and all these do is recreate the hellish experiences ive had.

    and i dont need that.

  • It's not that the airline doesn't have large enough armrests as one poster suggests... it's that some people are often inconsiderate boobs and act like the whole plane belongs to them.

I travel a LOT and the ones that drive me nuts are the loudmouths that feel like they've got to yak with their friend so loud that you can hear them 4 rows away... usually on a night flight when most people would like to be sleeping.

  • Planes have crappy seats to get the most money out of people and these annoying problems are the result...but laughing at it makes it seem less their fault...

  • everyone posts such long comments

  • at first i tought this was a video to inform you what passengers are doing and that you shouldnt do it but listening to others actually changed my point of view. Delta understands there are problems but they are not doing anything about it r they? they shud be thinking of ways to solve it not remind us how passengers act without u solving it

  • it's pretty simple really....it isn't up to an AIRLINE to create a solution for how passengers should act...it's up to the flying public to figure it out not for an airline to enforce basic manners...it's so simple it's brilliant

  • YES THANK YOU!!! so true haha your A GENUIS!!!

  • what is up with ppl posting long comments on these vids.

  • lol

  • i mean but like if you look at every video that they made then you would kno look above at this comment i am going to post

  • Yes, the seat recliner jerk!!!!

    God, I hate them!

  • In addition, Delta is improving service, it's just going to take time. Delta is one of the world's largest airlines. You can't expect the entire fleet to be changed in a matter of days.

It's going to take time and patience, but it is being done. At least they're acknowledging you're uncomfortable.

  • I don't believe these are advertisements at all. Delta just understands and recognizes passenger discomfort, and if you have flown on any of our newer jets, that have been changed a great deal, you would all understand that Delta has made a great deal of change to most its aircraft.

You also have to keep in mind that if you live in a smaller market city, you need to expect a smaller jet. It makes absolutely NO sense to send in a 737 into a city that can barely fill up CRJ 400s.

  • From these videos, we can conclude that:

-Delta doesn't have enough airplane lavs

-Delta doesn't have seat with enough armrest space

-Delta doesn't do enough to smooth over potentially rough passenger predicaments

Delta is using humor to manipulate passengers into settling for less. If they really wanted to improve service, they should use the money they paid this advertising firm to invest in their planes and onboard service!

  • ok well we understand wut u think cuz u said the SAME EXACT THING on shady lady

  • one i would like to see is the passenger that nags and complains about everything

  • At first I thought these animated spots were rather funny, and I do think it's creative on their part. However, as several others mentioned, I was expecting more, if not a "lessons learned and how to make your flying experience and others better," or a, "delta is taking abc measures to make your holiday travel smoother" type of message...

  • I don't get it. Delta is mocking a frustrating airline experience but doesn't offer a solution or alternative? I was hoping the final few seconds would explain that Delta understands this situation is bothersome to travelers and why/how their airline solves the problem. I'm more insulted than amused. If Delta KNOWS people hate sharing armrests than why don't they spend money adding armrests instead of producing stupid animated shorts.

  • These shorts are cute on the surface, but it doesn't it seem to anyone else that the airline is mocking the hand that feeds them? How would you feel about the DMV airing producing videos featuring animated customers getting in line behind skeletons, funny or infurating?

  • Get first/business class..that's what I got from these Delta commercials....

  • Do the seat recliner jerk next

  • It's rare that an airline has a sense of humor like this. Refreshing.

  • This is great stuff. Wow. DELTA is trendy...

  • lighten up. jeez

  • I don't get it. It is as if these spots are tying to talk you out of flying all together. I was expecting some type of contrasting scene at the end.

  • I was expecting the same thing. They state the problem, but without a solution/alternative.

  • I was going to write the same thing, glad you did. It's like they are telling you if you fly with them these things WILL happen and just deal with it. They need a better solution.

  • These "things" don't just happen. Someone creates them, perhaps unconsciously - someone like you and I. Now that we're aware of these things, we might be inclined to avoid creating them ourselves the next time we fly.

  • I TELL YOU, when i am booking, I am not gonna book in a middle seat lol.

    GOOD STUFF DELTA!

  • Creative...innovative...LOVE IT!!! way to go delta
