  • Always drink coke - it is quite a tasty treat.

  • SUBLIMINAL THIS - PARANOIA MAY DESTROYA

  • they are the masters

  • SUBLIMINAL THIS - COKE WILL KILL YOU

  • SUBLIMINAL THIS - COKE WILL KILL YOU

  • dude this bass is sick as fuck

  • @fisheatsteel Mick Taylor on bass in this song. The more I hear "It's Only Rock and Roll", the more I want to punch Jagger/Richards in the cock for letting him leave the band.

  • pepsi is better than coke. but this song is better than cola.

  • @fisheatsteel Where are you from?

  • It is Mick Taylor on bass. Jagger on guitar, Keith on wah-wah, Bill on synthesizer, Billy Preston on clavinet.

  • Just keep the SIS out of sight...because they are taking pictures of the ultra violet light...and, I can say that such technology exists today....Patriot Act and all.

  • @Amobb481 Technically, it's the USA PATRIOT Act.

  • i seek pole shift survival group

  • Mick Taylor is playing bass.

  • Always snort Coke. It's always a tasty sniff.

  • This exciting gem predates the Stones' disco tracks like Miss You or Hot Stuff!

  • Who's listnin'? Right now....somebody is listnin...

  • the bass that kicks in at 2:23 just sends chills thru my body. Bill Wyman, one of the more underrated bass players in rock history.

  • @beantownbig3 Bill Wyman didn't play bass on this track--Mick Taylor did. Bill played some synthesizer licks, though. Some of the Stones' best bass lines were played by either Keith ("Live With Me") or Mick Taylor (several tracks on Exile on Main St.).

  • @dougliness Listen to Bill Wyman on "Brussels Affair". Amazing. Simply, Amazing!

  • @dougliness oh ok thanks for clearing that up. i knew Mick Taylor occasionally played bass on Stones tracks, but i didn't know he played bass on this track.

  • 2:20. JIZZ. Im amazed I havn't heard this song before...

  • fuck coke,,,poison,,,but tastes good,,,oh well,,,

  • Totally agree with 'underrated song' comment. imho Undercover also falls in to that category. I've seen the Stones almost every show they've played in the D/FW area since 1975. Great band and shows. Their ticket prices are high but they always have two or three support acts who usually headline their own shows. Stones openers I've seen live include the Eagles, ZZ Top, Living Color, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Trapeze, Montrose and other greats.

  • lyrics written in the mid 70s but far more real today.

  • Always drink coke it is quite a tasty treat.

    Too bad I don't have any. :(

  • Best Charlie Watts ever did. Sounds like a sober Keith Moon, which I mean as a complement. The fill-ins are all Moon, kind of erie but beautiful

  • DUDE! You have excellent taste in music!

  • I can't be the first one to mention this, but did anyone catch the subliminal message attempt at 1:04 ?? And you're being facetious with that, right?

  • @BeatlesGuyTV What are you talking about??!!? Tell us....

  • @CharsBuenaVida oooh okay... just kiddin'

  • @BeatlesGuyTV ..." Always drink Coke it is quiet a tasty treat."

  • @BeatlesGuyTV but you better tell this Special Intelligence Service keep out of sight coz I know they're taking pictures on the ultraviolet light

  • i want to join the pole shift survival group or start the new one.

let me know whoever is interested.

  • only underrated by beatles fans,

  • I actually think that this song is good, I don't know why people dislike it.

  • Stay off the internet, Mick!

  • Seriously one of the Stones' coolest tracks... It belongs in the same category as all their other 'coked-out' classics... Like SLAVE and TOO MUCH BLOOD and MONKEY MAN and SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL and GIMME SHELTER...

  • If you let Jin out of the bottle, abide by the circumstances ;)

  • 4 G-men showed their disdain and ignorance for great music

  • Stumbled upon this song by chance. First time ever hearing it.. Thanks for enlightening me to such an amazing song!

  • im not a list bully...JAY!!!!!!

  • been looking for this song for a long time.

  • I love the effect they have put on Mick's voice.

  • this is an awsome tune its so ahead of its time

  • listening to the stones back catalogue on the weekend and discovered this hidden gem

  • great song

  • TruthAxe you moron. This is one of their best songs, playing the blues they love. I cringe at Jagger bleating "Angie", I go "what htef" at "Miss You", their "disco" phase. They were the Donald Trumps of yesteryear, like Madonna, ingenious marketers and self promoters. But their live shows were electrifying. And some of their songs were great. Like this one.

  • Great song....some little jerk in the FBI is puttin it mildly...our gov is out of control and sick

  • Yet another album-filler song. 95% of the Stones catalog has songs like this one.

  • Love this song and yup, underrated....

  • JAY MOHRS, I'D LIKE TO SWING HIM BY HIS ANKLES AND CRACK HIS SKULL ON A SINK.

  • @ludachris0119 O&A PARTY ROCK

  • Comment removed

  • thats not rock & roll it's all pop crap, your standards are very low bunch of idiots!

  • @scientististheshit This is from the guy listening to Emerson Lake and Palmer. Too funny....tell us scientist...how do we reach your exalted level? Your taste is simply impeccable!

  • suprised science guy hasnt gone american phsyco on this day n age of poprock bullshit if he thinks "some girls" is crap ...what did he think of every top 40 release since "hip to be square" from huey lewis ?

  • Jay Mohrs!

  • @Alex425707 "mick's so coked out his voice went higher" lmao

  • @Alex425707 I love what he said about all that cocaine making Mick's voice higher.

  • @Alex425707 WHO THE FUCK IS JAY MOHRS???

  • What the hell are you talking about?? Some Girls is one of the great albums of the Stones' entire catalog. Tattoo You? The entire A side is classic. Then you got Black Limousine and Waiting on a Friend. And if you really want to dig deep, Hot Stuff, Memory Motel and Hand of Fate are all great songs, but on an overlooked album.

  • Name one good song after this? Who is this idiot. Memory Motel, Fool to Cry, Hot Stuff, Miss You, Shattered, Beast of Burden, Far Away Eyes, Just My Imagination, Some Girls, Hang Fire, Worried About You, Slave, Black Limousine, No Use In Crying, Heaven, Waiting on a Friend, Undercover of the Night, All The Way Down, Feel on Baby, Emotional Rescue, She's so Cold, All about You, Dance, (pts. 1 and 2), Indian Girl, I think I'm going Mad, Everything's turning to Gold.

  • That sniff at 2:35!

  • some girls?tatto you?,crap,crap!

  • Um, all of Some Girls? Tattoo You? Both top albums with outstanding songs. Where did the notion that this particular album is their last great work?

  • Yes it is one of the best songs IMHO. i love their mid 70s stoner disco funk kind of thing.

  • I love this song....it becomes more relevant as i get older.

One of the Best Stones songs ever, and only some people know it.

  • well mr.know it all name one good tune after this album,it's all shit after this, they are living on their past fame, besides i know more about rock and roll, you should be ashamed of the videos you post, pure pop crap!

  • this is the last good stones album, from there on the rest of them are just shit!,can you say over rated!

  • @scientististheshit better stick to science, or something you know a little about, cause it sure ain't rock n roll!

  • yeah, people under eat this song, or many under ate, so get gobbling!

  • Three people work for the FBI

  • @ioreilly1 LMAO! no chit!

  • the song and the video its fucking awesome

  • YouTube?? Police?? It's keep me down.

  • Keith and Mick two sick bastards...

  • sb higher, heh.

  • Surely the FBI files on the Stones were alot highet than 6' high.

  • GOOD =D

  • one of the coolest songs in rock

  • luv luv luv luv it

  • @Orgonobin ;

  • @genxxxersize latin is a dead language gender bender.

  • Some of the NASTIEST Stones ever, I Fuckin' LOVE it man! ;o)

  • @genxxxersize shut up woman, you love what I tell you to love...and right now you love scrubbing my bathroom floors!

  • Very relavent to the events of today hello TSA,DEA & THE FBI

  • suck me bitch

  • mighty fine music from the mightiest finiest, the Rolling Stones. Fuck I LOVE THIS BAND. Greetings from the land of ABBA. Need I say more??

  • I do wonder if this is one of the tunes Keith played bass on.

  • @fenderfunk

I think Mick Taylor may be on bass.

  • @fenderfunk

He may have in the studio, but that is classic Keef riff. Oh yeah I know Mick T has the fills but that is Keiths licks.

  • @fenderfunk mick taylor on bass

  • I actually prefer the vocals on the live versions from the '75 tour, maybe that's because I heard them first though.

  • Comment removed

  • As funky as it gets. What the fuck happened to music?

  • i feel like such a loser...big stones fan and heard this for the first time this afternoon!

    Thanks Leo . . .

  • @MrEdiddy I felt exactly the same... i,m big stones fan... only heard it then! funky tune

  • Bill's bass playing is on point here...just a good long jam.

  • @SoCalCulated1999 mick tatlor on bass

  • @wkg55 taylor

  • @wkg55 actually it was none of the designated Stones, it was Willie Weeks. Bill Wyman in on the Synthesizer and Keith on pedal. No Mick Taylor on this track, which makes sense since he was pretty much out of the picture when they recorded It's Only Rock and Roll.

  • @SoCalCulated1999 mick taylor on bass

  • something raw n druggy about jagger's stumbles here. love it slurp

  • wauw wauw wauw this song will never die ,The rolling stones will never die from 1 till 10 i give this one an 11

  • vivaaa the rolling stones desde argentina !! very good song ;) fanky

  • Mick and the boys......Infinitly, Eternally, Cool.

  • Isn't this the one recorded in Germany of all places??? What a place to be a little paranoid.. Ey?

RE: FBI files etc... I REALLY wonder what Jimmy Millers "fingerprint file" would've looked like...tisk tisk tisk ...hahahaha...Can't touch him now !!!

  • Pertinent now as ever!!!

  • Brilliant song fitting together with a brilliant video.

  • Not underrated in our house .Nice one

  • @tinpotintellect

    good point. ditto

  • I agree. This is an underrated Stones song. Gotta like that atmospheric 70s vibe. It sort of reminds me of another unsung gem, The Disco Strangler, by the Eagles. Both should be acknowledged classics imo.

Actually, I wouldn`t be surprised if the FBI were keeping a file on Jagger given the extensive files they kept on other prominent public figures eg Lennon, Marylin Monroe, MLK, Elvis, Sinatra, Sonny Liston, Abbie Hoffman, Michael Jackson etc

  • Shut up!

  • Huh?

  • @rfalfonse Paul Robeson's FBI file makes all those combined look like a single leaflet.

  • great tune

  • Love it when that sexy old-school synthesiser kicks in at 3:18.

  • what would big brother do to Mick if he wrote this in todays political correct times ?

  • @billyjo1881 they were there then...That's what it's ABOUT !!! It's just a common falacy to believe anyone "Won the War" or won anything in the sixties...Everyone was lucky to escape without brain damage...or a good heroin addiction...or both.

    Chang Dow form Nom pen

  • It's my favorite of their later stuff (as opposed to early sixties.) I was at the It's Only Rock & Roll tour! OMG, there was 100,000 people there & it was the wildest time of my life.

  • 3rd best stonz song after rmbler

  • lol i wrote a year ago how i luv this song and think its overrated and i still think the same thing!!

  • BLBetty, You're so in tune. Cathy OBrien's book Trance Formation tells it all. Mick, Lennon, and the following pop generations keep it rolling, maybe unknowingly. She predicted VA tech shootings because of the nearby underground trauma lab. Good call BLB. you're my kinda girl..

  • Thanks I checked it out. That's as scary as reading Helter Skelter late at night actually scarier!

  • Look in the mirror. We brought this on ourself, by our greedy, selfish ways. We only care about our little egoes, no sense of national purpose. The immigrant will take over.

  • Only Mick and Mick could create a jam like this. SO DAMN FLY...

  • there`s a mistake in bass line on 2:04

  • Just heard this on Absolute Radio for the first time. Love it!

  • great song

  • always drink coke it is quite a tasty drink

    i already knew that

  • Comment removed

  • Cool song! This and "Short and Curlies" are my 2 favorites from this album.

  • Another great song too cool for the radio.

  • absolutely shocking that this song has less than 1,000 hits.

  • Oh, am I to assume that the current (thankfully) at death's door government were not responsible for the unprecedented, whole-scale spying on anyone and everyone???

  • Brilliant! This track epitomises everything the current American regime stands for. They will go down in history as the government which brought about the fall of the United States.

  • Wrong, that's Clinton.

  • That's ALL of'em! (president's and governments.) Great song though! I love Ronnie as a person; but still miss Mick T. on guitar.

  • @swiggeee they were best with mick

  • Taratownshend's post reminded me of something I've noticed: I've never heard so much buzz about the fall of the US as I have in the past year.

  • SHALOM A GREAT SONG I GUESS SOME DONT LIKE WHAT I LIKE WHO GIVES A .... SOOOOOOOOOOOOO BE IT' I AM JUST A YID ENTERTAINER FROM DOWN UNDER .

  • it reminds me of the CIA and the FBI hounding Paul Robeson until they almost killed him, google MKULTRA.

  • I mean underrated.

  • Defenitly one of the stones best songs. way over rated.
