Now they say anyone can prophecy. i dont believe that. Yes, anyone that is saved and has been given that gift by the Spirit, because the Bible says He is the one who distributes the gifts as He sees fit. And if anyone desires that gift should pray for it. I have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at the age of 11. And it grieves my heart to see other people teaching others how to be seers or prophets or how to speak in tongues!

I am very confused about some prophets of today. The Bible says in Acts that to receive the gift of the Spirit we must be baptized for the removal of sins. Also when i saw prophets they first spoke in tongues and then came with the translation, themselves or someone else. And they also say: "So says the Lord".
@LadyD1979 - You are seeing the gift of the Interpretation of Tongues in action. I have seen this gift in operation in a few spirit-filled churches. It is more rare than the gift of tongues, though I am not sure why, or at least I have seen it far less. The Lord gives one the message in tongues then afterwards He gives someone else the message in English where everyone can understand it.
I think that when people are baptised and enter into the Body of Christ, God gives them a gift. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He places us in the Body where He wants us. Someone may pray and ask God for the gift of healing, but maybe that is not where God wants that person. Just know that God has given you some type of gift, be thankful for it, use it to the best of your ability and for the glory of God. We can't all be "chiefs." Some of us just have to be "indians."

I have a strong desire to tell the Church to get ready. To walk in readiness. To walk as a Royal Priesthood. For the lost, I feel strongly of wanting to make them aware of current affairs and how they tie into the end times in scriptures. Does anyone else feel as I do?

Bible says that the Holy Spirit distributes the gifts as He pleases. Im not talking about you but I do not agree with people that go exercising for themselves or teaching others how to do it. Its ok to instruct about how the gift operates as u are doing but only the Holy Spirit distributes the gift.

oh yes there are many that want to learn but have no access or no money and the Lord is slowly showing me this process but yes even if you teach one person you never know if that one person is the one that is suppose to hear this word to advance God's kingdom ...i'm not saying this in regards to myself but that fact that i am involved with others around the US through telecommunications meetings about the prophetic and many of them are wanting more on the prophetic so preach it!

Of course there will be enough interest! I may not see many visions, but I do see alot of signs. I tell many people, and I believe that our world is in need of Prophets and Healing. We're EXTREMELY close to Christ's 2nd coming, and just as Christ came the first time, there were prophets like John The Baptist telling people of him, just before his coming. You go ahead and Follow what God tells you, and it won't be in vain. =o) Keep up the great work!
