  • I don't know if I can do one of these, but I'm sure gonna try!

  • He looks like a cross between Dolph Lundgren and Eric Roberts.

  • Kent Hovind's doppleganger!

  • I cant believe I can do this, I haven't had a serious workout in over 2 years, I did 3 of them though. Nice video.

  • aye thats a good tutoriall dudee.. i thought it looked easy but damm its intense

  • man this is one of teh best ab work outs ever. crunches just weren't doing it anymore so i decided to try these and diam do they ever work.

  • Nice Thanks ;)

  • go back up straight, it's the hardest part of the exercise by far. it *looks* like you have the strength to do it...i'm sure you can do it

  • hes only showing the negative bit as it says, its the tutorial for it

  • Nice video. I was wondering how to do the negatives and now I know.

  • thanks! I have two queations...

    1. Is it easier or harder on a slanted surface?

    2. What should I do if i have problems even doing negative flags to prepare for the real thing?

  • 1) It is harder on a downslope (head higher than your butt)- you can't rest at all at the top of the pose. It's easier the other way (head lower than your butt) because you can't come all the way parallel to the floor.

    2) Do every exercise you can to strengthen your core- planks, reverse crunches, weighted crunches, etc. Also work your upper back, shoulders and arms- all get used in this exercise! Let me know how it goes for you!

  • it would be a different world if everyone did 3 a day

  • Agreed. It's ridiculous that so many people get back pain, and spend so much on treatment, all because they didn't put their core to use.

  • @Kehrosuki Totally agreed. 3 sounds trivial, but if you can do three of these in a row, thats an accomplishment! but a lot of people cant even bring their knees to their chest.

  • hmmm that is a good way to start these bastards.

I agree with what you said in your reply below.

Thanks for the info on the post.

  • Great vid

  • thanks a lot man I'm def. going to start this

  • Thx lots

  • This is a tutorial designed to help people get started doing dragon flags. By working the negative portion of the exercise, you build strength so that you can do both the positive AND the negative- to do both immediately is to much to ask for people to do!
