This must be one of the great under- the- radar UK comedies.Up there with Shameless. I'm not a Manc but wow, that City produces some great music, art ...Brilliant.
I love this series, thanks for posting it. Pubs were really like this at one time. It's a shame they changed. I grew up in Stockport, England. Try this..goto Google maps and type in Samuel Street Stockport...Piper street stockport... birdhall lane,,,houldsworth square.... hesketh street....lowfield road...newbridge lane and guess where the author is from.
Thank you very much earlydoorsBBC for posting these. You are a legend sir !!!. Ive looked for these on here for ages and thought i would just try again and youve put them all up 4 days ago !!!!!! Im gonna settle back now , have a few beers and watch them all back to back. Cheers m8. Be lucky.
@earlydoorsBBC craig and joe meally are brilliant observationists.the royle family, this and sunshine, all absolutely perfect.not forgetting caroline ahearne for the royles and rikky thomo for his ad libs

Brilliant! So much better than The Royle Family which is a little one-dimensional. So many great characters in this.

This is an absolute gem of a comedy. This was voted as low as 91 in a Britains Best Sitcom poll. What a joke. Should be in the top 5 easily!
