I think the most entertaining part was Amanda hell-bent on shooting the nuts. XD Kudos on encouraging her to take it easy and have fun. I know as guys we tend to make things more competitive than necessary, and I'm certainly guilty of it myself. Despite being unfamiliar with the gun, I think she did quite well.
Great video. A job well done introducing Amanda to the shooting sport. She seemed to really enjoy it and was ready to go at her second run. The more I see the Kel-Tec SU16 in the project the more I like it or may be it has to do with the awesome camo job too. Great video very well done!

Nutn has said in the past that if a woman wanted to join as a regular member of TNP, she would be treated like "one of the guys." He's not adverse to having women in TNP.

This is one of the funniest tnp vids so far, the KSG trench vids are are a close second. I've got a 597 and have found that the black 30 rem mags work better than the clear ones. I also changed the extractor out with the volquartzen- not sure if Remington has fixed theirs yet.

F-words? :-/ I understand that those weren't encouraged, but why did they have to be left in? I've seen a lot of your videos, Nutn, and for the most part, they're clean, and enjoyable. But this is really disappointing.

You should do a search here on youtube for "Stephen Fry on the Joys of Swearing". He makes some valid points on the subject, and if you're the kind of person who looks at all viewpoints, it might be worth checking out.

However, that's part of the thing - I don't consider a swear word simple and small. I do appreciate the work Nutn does. He's taught me a lot. @counkev The Glock 27 chamber (.40 caliber) is much larger than the 9mm bullet (.355) and will accept the 9mm round into the chamber. The shorter 9mm round must be wiggling around in the larger chamber and It is by chance that the primer was hit just right for the bullet to fire . The .40 barrel is also much larger than the 9mm bullet and makes the 9mm very inaccurate out of a .40 cal barrel, but Yes, it is possible.

What a great shoot, I really hope to see this guy's (and girl) make appearances in future video's, It show's that you do not have to be the best to have fun and enjoy shooting, I really hope there is more parts to the Sunflower shoot :) Amanda did a great job shooting as well!!
This video really lightens up ones mood. So nice seeing so much progress in a begginer in so little time. Heck , I bet she was shooting better than half the guys that talk smack on the internet! ha! Great vid nutn this is an awesome vid.
That was a pretty fun video. Cool to see Amanda in the mix as there are many ladies in the neighborhood who shoot, some new some long time. Also a few former military like me who have been away from firearms for several decades now having fun with all aspects. The Pistol Caliber Carbine vids helped me to get over my infatuation with the MP5 .Watching the run & guns helped refresh & build useful elements when I do get trigger time. I will carefully match ammo to magazines, thank you. LOL
The greatest thing about the vid is using a .22 for the new shooters. Pet peeve for me is the idiot boyfriends getting their kicks watching their girls shooting 357's and 44's. Good way to lose future shooters and advocates of the sport.

Kind of the same reason I don't have a .380 anymore. Way to easy to mix up .380 and 9mm when you are rushing. Now our pistol calibers consist of 9mm, .357, and the ever popular 22lr. Hard to mix any of those up. great vid that would have made me check my system if I hadn't already done the exact same thing. By the way my pf-9 did cycle a .380 just felt like a squib round until I realized what I had done. I felt like a moron for sure.
9 in a .40...pretty bad, but he appears to be a good shooter, just needs to loosen up a bit. Taking tips from your coaching nutn, will help me teach my girlfriend how to shoot better hopefully
man, my girlfriend loaded 9mm in my M&P .40 and i didn't know. they fired the bullet but the gun didn't cycle. I thought my gun was broken, and i was about to cry at the range....lol funny stuff
@trumpfunk1997 & that's what I think happend to Avrammi, u remember what the grain was? got a theory that the Grain of the rest of the rounds weren't heavy enuff (if they were 9mm) so that was prob'ly why the rest didn't fire off and just those 2 rounds did because maybe they were a heavy enuff grain (if THEY were 9mm), or maybe he got those 2 rounds that did fire (cuz they were.40) and accidently grabbed 9mm as the rest either way it's interesting to me how that happened. just a musing of mine.
Nutn'- sometime's I think you're a weird dude and I don't always agree with your philosophies, but to each their own. For some reason I felt way more connected on this video because it was more about being real and having patience for the novice shooter. I really enjoyed this video and wish you incorporated more of reality of the average joe vs the latest and greatest tacticool trend.
@schniderlog Yeah, we do. We get good ideas for our next shooting outing. And it's helpful to see how the equipment performs. Also, it's a tolerable substitute for shooting when we can't get out. Anybody else have anything to add?
@fuzzylumps1 9mm pressures are slightly lower than .40 S&W, plus the bullet isn't going to seal with the bore so the pressure from firing a 9mm in a .40 bore would be much lower than nominal. The worst thing that would happen is that the case would be fire formed in a funny shape, the action wouldn't cycle, or the muzzle velocity would be really low. I've seen lots of guns shoot rounds with smaller bullets than they were design for without catastrophic failure.

Is it even possible to shoot 9mm in a Glock 27 ? Because Jared did he shot two rounds at the first steel target.

@counkev The Glock 27 chamber (.40 caliber) is much larger than the 9mm bullet (.355) and will accept the 9mm round into the chamber. The shorter 9mm round must be wiggling around in the larger chamber and It is by chance that the primer was hit just right for the bullet to fire . The .40 barrel is also much larger than the 9mm bullet and makes the 9mm very inaccurate out of a .40 cal barrel, but Yes, it is possible.

What a great shoot, I really hope to see this guy's (and girl) make appearances in future video's, It show's that you do not have to be the best to have fun and enjoy shooting, I really hope there is more parts to the Sunflower shoot :) Amanda did a great job shooting as well!!

That was a pretty fun video. Cool to see Amanda in the mix as there are many ladies in the neighborhood who shoot, some new some long time. Also a few former military like me who have been away from firearms for several decades now having fun with all aspects. The Pistol Caliber Carbine vids helped me to get over my infatuation with the MP5 .Watching the run & guns helped refresh & build useful elements when I do get trigger time. I will carefully match ammo to magazines, thank you. LOL

The greatest thing about the vid is using a .22 for the new shooters. Pet peeve for me is the idiot boyfriends getting their kicks watching their girls shooting 357's and 44's. Good way to lose future shooters and advocates of the sport.

Kind of the same reason I don't have a .380 anymore. Way to easy to mix up .380 and 9mm when you are rushing. Now our pistol calibers consist of 9mm, .357, and the ever popular 22lr. Hard to mix any of those up. great vid that would have made me check my system if I hadn't already done the exact same thing. By the way my pf-9 did cycle a .380 just felt like a squib round until I realized what I had done. I felt like a moron for sure.

It would be great to see a philosophy video on first time shooters and teaching techniques, just like you did about "teaching your kids how to shoot".
It's always nice to see experienced shooters like Nutn taking the time and being patient about teaching new shooters.
We need more females in TNP and more first time shooters.Maybe pick a few people that never shot for a special TNP course/video.
We all need to bring new shooters to the sport to protect our future rights.

man, my girlfriend loaded 9mm in my M&P .40 and i didn't know. they fired the bullet but the gun didn't cycle. I thought my gun was broken, and i was about to cry at the range....lol funny stuff

@trumpfunk1997 & that's what I think happend to Avrammi, u remember what the grain was? got a theory that the Grain of the rest of the rounds weren't heavy enuff (if they were 9mm) so that was prob'ly why the rest didn't fire off and just those 2 rounds did because maybe they were a heavy enuff grain (if THEY were 9mm), or maybe he got those 2 rounds that did fire (cuz they were.40) and accidently grabbed 9mm as the rest either way it's interesting to me how that happened. just a musing of mine.

Nutn'- sometime's I think you're a weird dude and I don't always agree with your philosophies, but to each their own. For some reason I felt way more connected on this video because it was more about being real and having patience for the novice shooter. I really enjoyed this video and wish you incorporated more of reality of the average joe vs the latest and greatest tacticool trend.

@schniderlog Yeah, we do. We get good ideas for our next shooting outing. And it's helpful to see how the equipment performs. Also, it's a tolerable substitute for shooting when we can't get out. Anybody else have anything to add?

@fuzzylumps1 9mm pressures are slightly lower than .40 S&W, plus the bullet isn't going to seal with the bore so the pressure from firing a 9mm in a .40 bore would be much lower than nominal. The worst thing that would happen is that the case would be fire formed in a funny shape, the action wouldn't cycle, or the muzzle velocity would be really low. I've seen lots of guns shoot rounds with smaller bullets than they were design for without catastrophic failure.
