Hey I'm buying a 1953 Fargo shortbox (ps I'm only 13 and yes I have a job lol) and I was wondering if you had any tips for a young 'car nut' restoring a old truck? :)
my dad had a fargo 55 I grew up with,with the straight six flat head whats in your truch an original 383? or what year v 8? it also had a flat rear window were yors curves a vacuamn wiper moyoer and i cant rememeber if it had a pop up air vent on the front it was a good into work & droped us to school going over snow drifts in the winter get us to public school.
your lucky to have found one with the original V8, lot you can do with that motor.

@pinon2610 Hi there, when i bought my 56 it had a front end from a MITSUBISHI L300,
do a search on ebay, they me called something different were you live ? they go straight
in with out to much work, then grab a rack steering out of a mitsubishi sedan and your good
to go. Hope it helps in some way, good luck.

Hey, its a 56
it has a 270 poly V8
with the pop up air vent at the front
with 2 speed heater,
its great fun to drive.
