  • Creepypastas Everywhere ಠ_ಠ

  • Maybe the Saffron fighting dojo?

  • What happens to those who venture into the tall grass alone?

No one knows; you never return.

  • Should of been either victory road or indigo plateau.

  • this is a hack sound

  • @MEHDIG67 no it isn't

  • THE ENTRANCE OF THE FORBIDDEN GATE

  • I believe it was going to be used for the victory road entrance or the path to the indigo league. No one really knows much about it, besides the name of Entrace of the Forbidden Gate. I think it was possibly going to be used as you go through the gates, and if the player doesn't have all badges, it would play this song.

  • A wild Rattata appeared!

    HURRY, GET AWAY!

  • THAT JIGGLYPUFF! O.O

  • It works on my VBA perfectly. Thanks!

  • I think it's the Team Rocket theme music.. It's strikingly similar to the tune used in the background of the "To Protect the World.." speech..

  • @DarkTamerSteph I now think its a remix of the first boss battle with Madake in BUSHI Seiryuuden: Futari no Yuusha, a game developed by Game Freak for the Super Famicom and released in 1997, which was after Red/Green but before the Japanese release of Pokémon Yellow.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Maybe it was gonna be added in Unknown Dungeon where Mewtwo lurks. I believe Unknown Dungeon was remade differently in Yellow than it was in Red and Blue. In my opinion this sounds appropriate before fighting the ultimate Pokemon of Generation 1.

  • maybe that song would be used when the spearows attack ash and pikachu

  • Unreleased tracks can be revealed at rare occasions...anytime.

  • @ChickasaurusGL

I will be putting a response up for a new video I made a few weeks ago.

It is a video of this song, of the glitches it makes. GUYS THINK, FAMILY GUY with how they always relate to this and that, well MISSINGNO. is known for these kinds of things, in a way.

  • Such a good track, but imagine it was released. There would be countless remixes and rehashes in future versions.

  • THIS IS KANTO!!!!

  • megikarps theme

  • Am I the only one who thinks this music is incomplete?

  • or maybe just its the battle music for when you 1st catch pikachu, or team rocket, or when encountering spearow.

  • maybe its the beta bgm for the intro.

  • Maybe this would be used for MewTwo? :/

  • That looks like a very good VICTORY ROAD theme!

  • :O cheat enabled

  • so... did anyone heard the creepypasta?

  • @adaam97 What creepypasta? Could you PM me a link? (I wrote a creepypasta about this track, that is why I'm interested.)

  • @sleepingbeautiwing well i heard it in spanish (cause i'm spanish too) anyways i'll give you the link if i find it in english :)

  • @sleepingbeautiwing it is called ``el soundtrack que nunca debio ser liberado´´

  • This song what sounds is strangely familiar.

Is there anything in the early anime or something that might sound a little similar?

  • @ViperKirby Its, somewhat, like the theme that plays during the elite 4. Probably what it was going to be.

  • @ViperKirby i think this was an early replacer of the indigo plateau theme but it wasn't chosen finnaly...

  • i heard that the song is CURSED

  • Una mierda de truco que queris que te diga xD

  • ... that's it, someday I'll remix this. You don't mind if I post it as a video response then do you?

  • The song dosn't sound complete so i guess they scraped it early on

  • It cant be indigo plateau or victory road if they already have music. It couldn't possibly be a song for "Hurry, get out!" because it sounds nothing like a battle theme. There is no possible use. Gamefreak must have tried to make a new feature with this music. That is my conclusion.

  • @23cool1234 It's possible that this was meant to replace the music for the indigo plateau or victory road.

  • @KingMe1220 There was no need to. Have you ever seen them do something like that? The only thing like that i can think of is adding the poke-mart music in HGSS.

  • @23cool1234 Right, there was no need to. Which would explain why they didn't.

  • @KingMe1220 But the thing is why would they think aboout it?

  • I wonder if Nintendo has copyrights to this song if they never officially used it

  • @Z3ldaMahBoi Everything in the game is copyrighted. Every single file.

  • Fight (Item)

    Pokemon Run

    QUICKLY! GET AWAY!

  • Where was it supposed to play?

  • @mcluigi117 Possibly in Victory Road or Indigo Plateau.

  • Sounds epic to be honest.

  • y didnt they put this in the game?! its so catchy D: im sad now T^T *eats ookie the looks like a pikachu and hugs my marill pillow* im happy now :3

  • Victory Road theme?

  • The creepiest part is the image used.

    Pikatchu's eyes are so scary...

    ...

    SO SCARY...

  • @Scrabzord wtf

  • @Omnimatrix10 They ARE creepy...

  • I think this was gonna be used for ''Run away battles''. The creators actually had the idea of entering battles before you get your first Pokemon and this was gonna be the music.

  • OMG this is scary...

  • The drum part sounds like what would be played at the gallows when people are hung.

The main tune, however, sounds like an excerpt from a song in The Nutcracker.

  • Hurry, get away!

  • am i the only one who finds this happy?

  • @pokepokemans

    yes.

    very yes.

    BEST 8 BIT SONG EVER

  • THIS IS THE MOST EPIC 8-BIT SONG IN THE WORLD!

  • ok after i had put those codes in i cant move my character or anything else. even after i had turned them off i still couldnt do anything

  • @TheBlur2010 Have you tried keeping them off at the title screen first then activating them when walking through a door? If you're trying these codes in Red/Blue, they also won't work, because the track doesn't exist in Red/Blue.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Maybe they removed in final version because it could be scary for kids and i think that could be team rocket trio encounter music before battling them. they are so awesome except in best wishes where they appeared less frequently and they were rated from main characters to recurring characters.

  • this was to be used when battling jessie & james i think .

  • Sounds like a intro for the elite four (when i mean intro i'm talking about when you talk to them and then you battle them)

  • Just like the PBR Unused track this sounds so good perhaps my fav from Yellow.

  • after u beat gary in the elite 4 u were originaly gunna face professor oak at the end n he had Tauros, Exeggutor, Arcanine, Gyarados and the final evolation of the pokemon u and gary didnt pick maybe this was his battle song idk

  • Maybe this would play if your pokemons HP is on red (like in B\W where a sepcial music would play if yor pokemons HP is low)

  • @cloudcakes30 This music is almost cheerful.

  • According to bulbapedia, It is not located in the battle, overworld, or cave soundfront. It is located in the minigame and "special trainer" (Jessie and James) soundfont, where the Pikachu's Beach music is stored.

  • The need to make a remastered edition of Pokemon yellow and put this in there.

  • This looks like a bit of THIS IS SPARTA!

    But now,THIS IS PIKACHU!

    or THIS IS POKÉMON YELLOW!!

  • YOU ARE GOING TO GET OWNED RUN AWAY!!!!

  • i used it on vba and it made a creepy screch that hurts my ears

  • @Thevista671 Activate them when walking through a door.

  • @Thevista671

    That's why I uploaded a side-effect video. PLEASE ENJOY! :D

  • Go Figure!

  • a part of this sounds like the epic part of plat's giratina battle. :3

sounds like indigo plataue being taken over by rocket. :)

  • You were actually meant to try to catch the Pikachu yourself in the beginning, and this was supposed to be the theme.

Oh and also, I would love to see someone remix it in Pokemon B/W soundfonts.

  • Meaby it was for Jessie and James

  • UMM THIS IS SPARTA?

  • @awesomelink10 NO! THIS IS PATRICK!

  • @Infernoman48 lol

  • how come they never used this one i dont see anything wrong with it

  • I think it was meant to be used for cheaters, like going into a field without Pokemon before Oak.

  • @Chamillionare64 Sounds like it, actually.

  • is it not obviouse?

    it's my battle theme.

  • It's not just me, right?

This sounds kinda like a non-battle theme version of the Hoenn E-4?

  • >:O i declare a war.....level up!

  • prof. Oak battle

  • Maybe the alternate theme to Indigo Plateau

  • This is battle music.

  • @NitsuaXepher It is probably not battle music since this music is in the minigame/extra features sound font. The battle music sound font is completely different.

  • THIS! IS! SPARTA!!!

  • Giovanni Battle, duh.

  • the beginning sounds like a sparta remix XP

  • WHAT IS IT IS I TEAM ROCKET E SOME THIN

  • Sounds Familiar beacuse i heard it before...

  • This is creepy... just tested it out on my game.

  • The thought of this and the "hurry get away" is actually pretty scary... It's like something that would appear in a nightmare of mine...

  • sounds like some alter theme for the Pokemon tower where all the ghosts lie

  • It could be for when you interact with a legendary and the music turns like that.

  • this song say: war!... well i feel something like that

  • @ ChampionRevilo Hurry! Get away!*

  • Imagine this song playing against a wild Magikarp.

  • Sounds like it would be an early version of the gym leader music or some audio for a type of boss.

  • @CapsuleMonsters Yeah, seems like it.

  • This song perfectly sums up the feeling of impending doom. The creators of Pokemon should have played it at the S.S. Anne after the battle with Blue, where his Raticate supposedly died.

  • It sounds more like a safari zone song to me. Perhaps the safari zone was originally plan to be a mini game, or have a mini game expansion of it?

  • Reminds me of Creepypasta Lost Silver.

The track isn't that great. Sure,it sounds cool, but all it does is loop roughly.

  • Isn't this the tune for when you were supposed to catch your starter?

  • Glory for the first Pokemon to die! Chaaaaarrrggee!!!

  • From what i heard this was used in beta for victory road but changed back to orginal

  • This should have been the Critical Health SFX instead of the one they used.

  • Funny how they waste lots of time to make a great song like this then they don't use.

  • Was Yellow out before the first Pokemon movie was planned? This theme sounds like it would be used in the 8th gym and if Giovanni had Mewtwo.

  • Could a GBC or GBA game detect the battery voltage like a DS game could? Just curious :)

  • @KayserIllumina It had a much more primitive way of showing battery vultage. The LED would grow dimmer and dimmer when the battery started getting low.

  • What if this was coupled with the Porkchop sandwiches guy.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! OH SHIT! WE'RE DEAD!

  • This should play when the player encounters Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave.

  • buried alive theme?

  • this would have worked perfectly in pokemon creepy black during the final battle(perhaps at a lower pitch) with "ghost", because the whole "Hurry get away !" part would have been impossible adding to the overall creepiness

  • I think this was used at the pokemon league.

  • Does this kind of sound like a sparta remix in beggening or a war

  • Wild Mewtwo appeared level 100

    You have no pokemon

    RUN AWAY!!!

  • this should be used if you got beat by giovanni

  • you should make a longer version of this, i wanna listen to it without having to replay it every minute

  • I think programmers leave unused data in the games they make for testing purposes.

  • this must be freaking remix!!!!!!

  • It sounds like a Sparta Remix!

  • This is something that would play at the Pokemon league.

  • This sounds more like a Pokemon league theme.

  • I think this would play if you're losing a battle and your on your last pokemon

  • reminds me of a military theme

  • Out of context, this theme sounds pretty awesome...

But in context, it's quite creepy, considering it was supposed to play when you encounter a Pokemon with no way to defend yourself (no Pokemon of your own, I mean).

  • @SwerveStarEx Actually, it doesn't play on the "Hurry, get away!" battle system, so probably wasn't meant to be used. It doesn't exist for the in-battle tones, only mini-game tones. (In the anime episode where Ash runs away from a flock of Spearow, perhaps?)

  • @ChickasaurusGL Whoops, I noticed that my last post didn't actually make much sense at all, sorry. (...so this song probably wasn't meant to be used for in battle purposes.*), (*Maybe they could use Hurry get away! for an actual Spearow battle and this theme for an anime based spearow run minigame/interface.)

  • @ChickasaurusGL could've*

  • @ChickasaurusGL Hey, that would've been a great idea! Actually, I can imagine how that could work... It could be like a Trainer Battle against 6 Pokemon, but it would be wild Pokemon that could be caught or perhaps ran from...?

  • @ChickasaurusGL

No, the game is before the anime

  • @VideoTutorialesArgen Pokémon Yellow was actually released after.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Yeah, it was released to be more like the anime.

  • @VideoTutorialesArgen Pokemon Yellow was released as a game adaptation OF the anime, so yeah, it was made AFTER the anime

  • @VideoTutorialesArgen Actually as ChickasaurusGL said, Pokemon Yellow was released afterwards.

In fact, this game existed because of the anime.

  • Pure awesome.

  • I would bet that this was intended as Mount Silver's theme, if it was planned to put it in there before the designers chose to cut it out till Gen 2).

  • this sounds kinda like a 8-bit version of this is sparta o_O

  • @DeepFrozenSky omg ur right o.o

  • A nightmare fuel website told me that this song is (sopposed) to be played when your enter grass without a pokemon and have to run away...

    Kinda creepy...

  • Now I feel as if someone's right behind me...

  • For how short this is, maybe it is a version of the pre-battle music when a trainer sees you.

  • @57rfx I can back this up. It uses the same sound-bank for "Here Comes Jessie & James", "Pikachu's Beach", "Printer Error" and related sound effects.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Hmmm, interesting. I wonder what trainer class it would have been used for. I take it you are a rom hacker, or just really have played around with the game code?

  • @57rfx I only really play about with the game code. I use an Xploder GB (discontinued now, but they're still available via auction) which has an in built trainer function to search RAM addresses (basically a RAM address tracker / cheat searcher) and generate a Gameshark code. To re-locate this song I used the already found 0xD35A RAM address (but in little-endian so the 5-6th and 7-8th digits are "5AD3") to change the song, then had to generate pointer for song codes by value different searches.

  • @ChickasaurusGL RE: trainer class. It would only have to be a guess unfortunately because the pre-battle music isn't linked directly to the encountered trainer type itself. If it was meant for an approaching trainer, it would have to be a typical 'trainer type' and that byte only has types already used in game. There's a second byte to change the picture e.g. to Jessie & James' / Red's I'll search the RAM if there's any unused pictures there.

  • @ChickasaurusGL That is interesting. From what I have seen with playing around with the game code is that is very unorganized. Why leave so much blank space? Hmm, are there any unused trainer class sprites? Besides Chief and Prof Oak

  • Sprout Tower, anyone?

  • what if you were going to meet mewtwo sooner in this game maybe that's what it could had been too.

  • 8-bit remix of the Nutcracker theme.

  • @larewwedxhhh19 I don't hear much of a resemblance, though I do recall one of the pirate [SNES?] Pokémon games using the Nutcracker theme as its main battling music.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Whoops, I think I got confused then with the battle music for the pirated Pokémon Red for the Famicom/NES which would play another classic song called "In the Hall of the Mountain King" sorry about that.

  • @ChickasaurusGL In the beginning is where I hear a strong resemblance, because it loops there will be many intros to it. The rest doesn't sound much like the Nutcracker but try to compare it.

  • @ChickasaurusGL Ah! I found my error. I meant the song "March of the Nutcracker" which was a core song in the Nutcracker!

  • this sounds like something from zelda, no?

  • This is creepier than the Lavender town music! D: *shivers*

  • It was supposed to be used in the 'Hurry! Get away!' battles when you have to pokemon to fight with...

If I am alone aganist a pokemon without Pokemon to fight and I hear this music playing, I piss myself.

  • @LockHell Its probably unrelated because it doesn't exist in the battling sound-bank, meaning if it was possible you wouldn't be able to hear any regular in-battle sound effects.

    Soundbanks include:

    0x02 (overworld + related SEs + cries)

0x08 (VS wild Pokémon, VS trainer, VS gym leader, + related SEs + cries)

0x1F ('Caves', Title Screen + related SEs + cries)

0x20 (Yellow only: This song, here come Jessie & James, printer error, Pikachu's Beach + related SEs)

  • Why is it that unused music always so creepy? *shivers*

  • To me, it sounds quite similar to the evolution/Safari Zone music.

  • How do you do this in Pokemon Jaune.
