That opening grand jete...gets me everytime.

Plisetskaya may have started it, and Osipova improves upon it. Very few ballerinas can hang in the air long enough to arch their backs and raise their arms to meet their back leg, and stay there long enough for us to SEE it. It's a beautiful jump that Osipova tackles easily.
