After reading your post I just had to run upstairs and grab a spoon to even see if i could get a slide sound on my bass. Fear not, it is possible, although I got a much better sound with a nearby glass bottle(ouch). Unless your electric has like 7+ strings and you like tapping I don't think you'll be able to fill out the harmony very well, as even using just the lower two strings to play 1 and 5 a given harmony, there's no space for the spoon.

My last version is called "Spoon Guitar Song" and is featured on my channel. I'm satisfied with my last version, but it's still without the right rhythm pattern, because it's still too difficult (I'm used playing with a plectrum) :P

I also used a slightly bigger spoon without any grip or paper and my guitar has a standard E tuning.

Because of all that, my version is very different from that of the original.

laimprovissao, simplemente pon la cuchara en tu boca y ya está , cuidado con los dientes !!! escoje la cuchara más pesada que puedas mantener en tu boca y si puedes que tenga un mango de goma mejor, sino te aconsejo ponerle un carton atado alrededor para moderlo y así poder hacer más presión y evitar daños en tus dientes, espero que esto ayude ! saludos
