There are many ways of performing this monologue. I myself am performing it. I don't perform it as an emotional wreck, but this is completely emotionless. It should at least be disocciate. totally uneffective.

To the haters, I really wish people would take it easier on these people. The monologues aren't always done by people who consider themselves actresses. Also, anxiety is a factor. These women are doing something important- give them a break. *claps for the ladies*

Well, I mean...the monologues aren't really mean to be memorized. in the directions by eve, you are supposed to be relaying a story, rather than 'acting out' the story....so them reading this isn't the problem....

its just the lack of emotion. it seems rushed....This monologue should make a person a cry. It isn't mean to be read by a lot of people....Its made to be ready by 1 person...

This sounds like a read through....there is no emotion. Its just words. Just text. Not a story.

MUW, although it is one person's story, sometimes two people are used- one to portray the woman's thoughts and feelings, and her relationship with her body (particularly her vagina) and her sexuality, pre-rape, and one to portray them post rape. At the end, they speak in unison to show they are one.

Agreed. There is no emotion here. There should have been memorization. And one person should've been doing it.
