Hugging stroking your kids' hair and head, back, arms and all when they're good and not sparing the physical touch of correction are all necessary on appropriate places with the appropriate attitude is critial. All of it lets kids know they belong to something gretter than merely themselves. Their life matter to the ones that made them.

Maybe Canada needs to spend less time pushing spanking laws through the legislature and more time improving its educational system.
why do people always justify spanking with the fact that they were spanked and turned out fine? There are so many other ways to discipline, but hitting and it IS hitting a child while mad can lead to over zealous spanking and I think it should be illegal to spank a child because what about babies and toddlers, they are way to little to spank, you know? Teenagers are too old and well what about people that use hangers and wood and paddles. I just don't agree with spanking AT ALL. This is my opine
