She totally wrote this song about Alisdair Gillis. Christine "Moose" McGlade was the other woman, not Lisa Ruddy or Vanessa Lindross as has been suggested. In hindsight Alister should have listened to Ruth Busy and stuck with Alanis, but at the time Moose was a little older and Alisdair couldn't resist.
