Wow, the stories are true! I have seen many reviews of New Moon and they all talked about "the screaming." Wow I had to see, or well hear it, to believe it!
Yeah the movie is terrible. But do what I do; watch it as a comedy! The acting is so over the top, it's worse than a soap opera! It's has become self-parody at this point.

I totally agree with you dude, however, if the whole poing of being a critic is to review a movie, why make fun of the fans just because they share a different opinion than yours?
@PotterManiac25 It's all about what the books represent and why these people like it as to why it's so discouraging to me. It's like NerdWithWords says, and, wow, even the actor in the movie. The movies and the books are more about presenting this character that most fans completely objectify. Pattinson has said himself, most of what he has to do is be "a bland thing which people can project whatever they want onto." I think that's not a good thing and yet so many people are doing it with craze.
For me, when so many people love the story, it makes me want to read the series and see the movies in order to come to an understanding as to what it is that so many people are going batshit crazy over. Why do they love it? What is it that affects them so much?
